Pov Pond:
I conducted thorough research, which was quite different from my usual tasks as a contract killer. I sat in a secluded room equipped with laptops, screens, and various technical devices that could be folded out. The neon-lit room gave the impression of a secret hideout where crucial information was collected and analyzed.
I was focused and determined. My fingers flew across the keyboard as I scoured online databases, encrypted chat logs, and social networks to find any possible trace of Marco. I was searching for connections and clues that could lead to the traitor. To intensify my search, I resorted to various hacking tools and software. I followed digital footprints and attempted to infiltrate encrypted communications. It was a cat-and-mouse game where I used all my skills to track down Marco.
Simultaneously, I conducted physical investigations. I contacted informants and sources I had built over my time in the underworld. These informants provided possible locations and names that I pursued further.
The walls of my room were covered with maps, photos, and diagrams depicting the connections between different actors in this dangerous world. I tried to piece together the puzzle and get a clear picture of where Marco was hiding and how he could be found.Hours passed, and I worked tirelessly to locate Marco.
After hours of intense research and detective work, I finally found a promising lead. My heartbeat quickened as I realized that we might be closer to Marco than we thought. It was time to involve Phuwin.
I reached for my phone and dialed Phuwin's number. After a few short rings, he finally picked up. "Phuwin," I said in a calm but determined tone, "I've found a lead. It looks like Marco is holed up in an abandoned warehouse nearby. I need your support. We have to head there immediately."Phuwin's voice on the other end of the line was tense. "I'm on my way. Keep me updated." It was clear that he understood the urgency of the situation.
I hung up and prepared to reach the warehouse. This lead could be our best chance to find Marco and stop the impending betrayal. With my laptop, my phone, and an arsenal of weapons, I headed to the agreed-upon meeting point, where Phuwin was already waiting for me.When I arrived, I could see the tension in Phuwin's eyes. I handed him a pistol, and he immediately took it. We didn't exchange words but headed straight for the abandoned warehouse. The tension in the air was palpable as we approached our target.
Finally, we reached the warehouse, which looked eerie and unsettling in the darkness. It was located deep in the woods, far from any human contact. We approached cautiously, alert and watchful. With our pistols ready, we moved quietly and slowly into the warehouse. Our senses were heightened, and we were prepared for whatever awaited us.
As we entered the warehouse, we extended our arms and readied our pistols. I searched for a light switch, and when I found something resembling it, I pressed it, causing the lights to come on throughout the warehouse.

Pov Phuwin:We stood in the harsh light of the warehouse, which had previously remained hidden in the darkness. Our eyes scanned the vast space, but at first, everything appeared deserted and quiet. We moved slowly and cautiously, our pistols always at the ready. The silence was only broken by our quiet breathing and the echoing of our footsteps. Every sound seemed suspicious in this tense situation.
Suddenly, we heard faint footsteps approaching. Our heartbeats quickened, and we ducked behind one of the old, rusted storage shelves. The tension grew, and our fingers were firmly on the triggers of our pistols.
Then, a man stepped out of the shadows. It wasn't Marco. He held a weapon tightly in his grip. Surprised to find us here, he immediately opened fire. Bullets tore through the air, and we returned fire, moving from shelf to shelf to seek cover.
Bullets pierced the old metal shelves, and the noise of the gunfire echoed deafeningly in the warehouse. When the lights suddenly went out, I immediately dropped to the ground. I could hear shots being fired. When the lights came back on, I saw Pond standing by the switch, looking at me angrily.
"We lost the person; they escaped," he said. I got up and approached him. "Damn it, what do I have to do with it?" I yelled at him. "You could have helped instead of lying on the floor." "Yeah, sorry, Mr. I-can-do-everything."
We searched the warehouse. "Pond, come here quickly; I think I've found something that could be important for us."
I knelt down and pointed to the ground. Some documents were scattered there, apparently dropped during the exchange of gunfire. I picked them up and shone my flashlight on them. They were confidential documents that hinted at Marco's activities - bank statements and much more.
"This is what we've been looking for," I said to Pond, who had also rushed over. "These documents could lead us to Marco." We gathered the documents and headed outside to continue our pursuit."Everyone goes home and packs a few things. Pack only what you need, Phuwin. That means no beauty products, princess."
Did he just call me "princess"? Well, he'll see what he gets from that.——————————————————————————————————————————————————————
