8/27/14 I walked down to my fifth grade class for the final grade of my elementary school year. My teacher Mrs.Urbanczyk(ur-ban-zick) welcomed me and my buddies to our classroom. There she was standing and getting ready for the day, writing the assignments down in her planner with a smile on her face. Vera Cowie one of the most happiest students in my class. She would always walk in with a smile everyday, rain or shine. It shocked me when I heard about her death on May 10, 2015. She was to me the most beautiful kids in our class I'd hope my classmates would agree with me. I know what your thinking, is she my girlfriend? No, but I was very close to her. I had done many things with her and I'd like to do things with Vera. After all she was my friend. I can't believe she is gone. I pray everyday that she made it to heaven and pray that Jesus would help her and her family. The picture above shows her funeral and I couldn't believe how many people cared about Vera. The church was small or should I say funeral home. People would line up in the halls because the room was small. Her sister Amiya Cowie is finishing up her books she started when she was alive and hopefully she will do a book like this one
