The second period passed; it is now first break. Everyone gets up as they pack their stuff, though I'm just sitting down, still wondering about this whole mess. Spencer packs his stuff and starts to pack mine for me. I noticed and shook my head as I packed up my own stuff. Spencer starts to get a little concerned as he asks,
"Hey, you alright? Are you going to hang out with us this break?"
I pause before nodding, "Should I? Will Via be there?"
"Probably, I mean she's always with us so, maybe."
"I probably shouldn't then, I know she doesn't want to see me right now."
"No man, just come. We'll figure this out."
I smile softly at him as I nod my head and get up with my stuff, following Spencer. We walk upstairs towards the rooftop, as we see our friends. I scan for Via, and I see her... Next to Luca. I sigh before tugging on Spencer's sleeve and whispering, "Are you sure this is a good idea?"
Spencer nods his head as he continues walk towards them, so I followed. I look down at the ground, barely looking at them.
"Hey guys!" Spencer exclaimed as he waved. I wave a little too, they all waved back.
"What took you guys so long? It was so boring!" Scarlett groans as she rolls her eyes. Spencer chuckles as he rolls his eyes back.
"Oi, lady, watch your eyes."
"What are you going to do? Pluck them out?"
"Exactly what I was about to do."
"Shut up, you idiot."
"No, you."
I chuckle at their bickering until Luca says,
"You two should sit down, now. Don't stand up the entire time."
I nod my head as me and Spencer take our seat. I don't sit next to Via this time, I don't want to disturb her. She didn't even look at me once, she would just be staring at the others or at the ground.
"Hey, guess what? Bethany isn't here." Scarlett snickered.
"That just made my day! Thank God that witch isn't here!" Spencer exclaims out of relief.
I sigh as the group continues to talk; I'm just wondering how Via feels right now. I look up to look at Via, looking so comfortable next to Luca. My heart starts to hurt, it is not a great feeling. I have no idea why I feel like this, I just want to hug her again. Spencer looks over to me and Via. I can feel he had enough of this,
"What the heck is wrong with you two?" he asked in a very serious firm tone. I look at him, then at her, then at the ground. I shook my head hoping Via would answer, but she didn't. Spencer starts to shake his head in disbelief,
"Clearly something happened. What's wrong with you Via? Same with you too, Zavier."
I look up to her, hoping for a response from her. I see her lips try to move, but she can't talk so she closed them. Luca steps in as he says,
"Hey, leave her alone. Nothing happened."
"Oh yeah? Then why were you two in the music room alone then?" Spencer chuckles with no humor. Spencer is getting very serious about this; I didn't mean for him to get upset.
"Gosh, it's nothing, seriously!" Luca starts to raise his voice for the first time. Spencer raised an eyebrow at him, laughing. He then switched expressions quickly as he is not even smirking anymore.
"Then why the fuck is Lativia like this to Zavier?"
"I don't know! She talked to me normally this morning,"
"That's the thing! You guys were talking this morning and all of a sudden, she looks at Zavier as if she hates him. What the fuck did you say about my bro?"
Scarlett jumps in between those two as they're getting too close. "Okay guys! Calm down! You two are getting out of hand, let's do this together, calmly."
I breathe out before patting Spencer's shoulder, "It's all good, man. It's not a big deal."
"Not a big deal? What the fuck are you talking about? It clearly is since you've not been yourself since the morning."
"Spencer, it's all good! She probably-!"
"You two, shut up!" Via screamed in frustration. All of our eyes are on her, wide open. That's the first time she's spoken out loud, screaming in fact. We are just staring at her in silence, we're all shocked by her sudden scream. She looks at all of us with a glare, especially me. She sighs before calming down,
"I apologize but you two stop it," She mutters enough just for us to hear.
"I don't hate Zavier, okay? I really don't. And nothing happened between Luca and I, just leave each other be!" she explains everything as she sighs at the end. She then stood up and walks away. I have this gut feeling to follow her, but Luca already is. I look at him running after her, as I just stay where I am with a hurtful expression on my face. I feel two hands on my shoulder, it's both Spencer and Scarlett. They look at me with concern as I feel like I want to cry. I sigh as I hug my knees together, looking down at my lap.
"Hey, it's alright... Lativia will be herself towards you again," Scarlett reassures me as I shake my head.
"But... Luca seems like he's there for her. What if she replaces me with him?"
"No, there's no way she would do that. You're her best friend, she would never do that to you."
"Seems like she already did..." I say with tears on the urge on falling down. I feel a hug from Spencer and Scarlett as they comfort me through my tears. I really don't know what to do anymore...
