{Chapter 4 - Youkai vs Herrscher}

Location - Nagazora

*No POV*

The sound of a thousand birds chirping can be heard around the desolated city as the Herrscher of thunder stabs her left hand forward towards Heisuke's shoulder, who side-steps out of the way to her chagrin. She tries again, however, slashing to his left and right with grace and fluidity, but is outmatched by Heisuke's speed and finesse.

"Would you stay still!?" She yelled at him, continuing to stab and slash to no avail as Heisuke just kept dodging with a smile on his face.

"And what? Get hit by you? That'd be embarrassing." He chuckled.

The Herrscher growled in annoyance at him, thrusting forward towards him, only for him to dodge to the left of her, spinning around and landing a hard elbow to her face.

"Aghk!" She yelped in pain from the hit that sent her flying across the air as she was about to crash into the ground, Heisuke instantly appeared behind her in a blur, landing fast punches to her back before spin kicking her away.

"Aagh!" She cries out in pain once more, then lands on the ground in a heap, breathing heavily for a moment, before slowly getting to forcefully take a knee, seemingly suffering more damage than she thought.

She wipes her mouth, feeling a trickle of blood running down it. Once she sees the blood on her thumb, she grits her teeth, clenching her fists so tightly that they begin bleeding."He made me bleed—even at this new state of power! How!? Those were only a few hits." Her eyes widen as she hears footsteps approaching her. She looks up, seeing Heisuke approaching with his hands in his pockets, looking down at her with a smug smile on his face.

The Herrscher looks at him, terrified and curious, then asks him. "You. How powerful are you?"

The blue-haired youth pauses his walk, now standing a few feet away from the grounded Herrscher. He then adopts a mocking-thinking pose, looking up at the night sky. "Powerful enough to pierce the heavens probably." He stated, looking down at her with a mocking grin, his ominous electrical blue eyes shining.

"Either way I'm stronger than you~" He teased with laughter. 

The Herrscher, hearing his cocky response, growls animalistically but stays on her knees, slowly but steadily recovering, planning what to do next to get back in the fight against the blue-haired Half Youkai.

Everyone back on the Hyperion is watching Heisuke dodge the Herrscher's attacks with ease, all with a smile on his face, along with downing the powerful being in just a few hits can't help but just watch on in dumbstrucked and amazement.

"First he kills some Templars, now he's going to kill a Herrscher? Seriously, what is this guy?" One of the crewmates was dumbfounded at how easily this random blue-haired man is manhandling a Herrscher of all things.

"Whatever is he, let's be glad he's on our side, and is killing the damn monster responsible for all this." Another one of the crewmates said with a smile, and everyone laughed and cheered, agreeing with him.

Everyone except for Himeko and Bronya, one who is looking at the screen with a smirk satisfied at the Herrscher being beaten after what she put her through, whilst the other looks on emotionlessly but is inwardly sad at watching her friend beaten around and called a monster.

"Why mom... why do this to Mei..." She asked herself, clenching her fists so tightly that they turned her knuckles turn white.

Himeko glances over at Bronya, seeing no emotion on her face, but she looks closer to see her hands shaking, fists clenched tightly, her knuckles pure white. She narrowed her eyes, feeling sympathetic for the girl since her friend had been turned into a monster.
