"A human's dead body..."

Gakushu's eyes glaze over with shock and fear as he stares at the human corpse.

"Oh my god..." he exclaims.

Luna and karma also gasp in shock at the sight.

"It's... it's one of the humans we saw earlier..." Luna says in a hushed tone.

Gakushu flies a bit higher into the air so karma could see the horrifying scene below as well.

"What the hell..." karma mutters in shock. "How could this even..."

"A HUMAN ALERT!!!!" A sound of the witches could be heard.

Luna isn't targeted
Gakushuu isn't either...

Soo....

Gakushu glances at karma and gulps in fear.

"Karma, you're the only human here," he says quietly.

Just then, they hear the witches' voices as they get closer. They sound angry and furious.

"Quick, we have to hide!" Luna whispers.

Gakushu quickly flies off the ground and above the trees, away from the witches.

The witches' voices can still be heard, but they sound like they are further away now

"Ugh... my leg broke from that hole" karma said as he bite his lip somehow cause of the pain.

"I know... it's going to hurt for a while," Gakushu says, his voice soft and kind. "But you're safe now."

Karma nods in response and tries to stop himself from crying in pain.

Gakushu looks at karma as he flies above the trees, still holding him in a bridal-style carry.

"This is all my fault... I'm so stupid..." karma says quietly, looking away in shame.

"Just a request..."

"Can you fly me to...?"

Gakushu flies over to Karma's neighborhood, still carrying him in a bridal-style carry.

They arrive at his house and land outside.

Gakushu puts Karma down gently and looks at him in worry.

"Are you alright?" he asks.

Karma tries to stand up but grimaces in pain.

"Ouch... my leg really hurts," he says.

Gakushu sighs and looks around in a panic.

"What should we do?" he whispers.

"Right... right..." Gakushu thinks aloud. "There must be some sort of healers in the castle."

Just then, karma grimaces in pain again as he tries to move his injured leg.

"Gah! It hurts so much..." he whispers.

Gakushu turns to him and hugs him.

"Shhhh... you'll be fine," he says softly. "I won't let anything happen to you."

Karma slowly smiles and hugs Gakushu back. He presses his face into Gakushu's shoulder for comfort.

"Aw sweet!" Luna giggles and smile smug.
