Chapter 9- Den🏠

When the doctor took Jin-hyung out of the room that's when things deteriorated quickly. The couch behind me started to shake like an earthquake was happening, I turn around to see Poppy was convulsing "Koo help me get Poppy off the couch." Tae said to me, so we both gentle took her off on the couch and on the floor placing a pillow behind her head and around her body, so she wouldn't hurt herself further.

Namjoon came up near Poppy, circling around her but not in a way that he would attack, but more of a protective way. "JK go and get Jin." Yoongi said to me, I get up and look back to see Jimin had took my place next to Tae.

I found Jin and the doctor talking "Hyung, Poppy she's shaking." As I said this they both look at each other and race in the lounge area. As we reached the living room a deadly growl was heard from Namjoon, I saw his joules were pinned back showing his canines and big drops of salvia dripping from his mouth, not allowing anyone near.

The doctor didn't advance forward any more "How long has she been like this?" He asked no one in particular. "For a few minutes now." It was Tae that answered, I look over to where the girl was and her shaking was slowly coming to an end but her hands were still clamped shut.
"Jin when was the last time Poppy had an episode?" So she has these often then? I know Jin-hyung said she is a sick child "Her last one was about month ago, but she also had one 2 weeks ago." The doctor wrote this all down on his pad thingy.

Taehyung had now propped Poppy up against him as she seemed to stop shaking, he was stroking her hair and whispering sweet words in her ear.

As she was still in the fitting episode, Namjoon did something surprising to me, usually he would take the longest to warm up to strangers. Making sure they weren't going to back his trust and stab him in the back.

Namjoon laid his head on Poppy's thigh and stayed there calmly, his black ears flicking back and forward listen to his surroundings. "What's Namjoon doing?" The doctor asked, I guess he was surprise because he's been a bit hostile, not hostile that's a bit of a strong word.. I would say a bit difficult because it's a different environment for him, for us, he's just trying to be a good Alpha to his pack.

I know I'm shy and find it hard to interact with new people, but Poppy hasn't done or said anything that would make me want to keep her at arms length and keep my distance. I think she needs us. "He's guarding." I say when Jin-hyung turned to me to see if I would answer the doctors question "Poppy's vulnerable at the moment, so he's keeping everyone in his vision in check by watching and also covering Poppy." I say back to Jin while watching Namjoon with her, I could feel my tail give a slow wag.
I looked up to see Jin look at me and then look at her sister "Jungkook do you think.. do you think I would be able to get near Pops? I need to check her." I didn't want to answer Jin's question because I know that Namjoon will likely try and attack him, I know this because it happened at the fighting ring.

After a couple minutes of silence "Yes you can." It was Yoongi who answered, I wasn't sure though I know Jin is our mate, but this guarding need is on another level.

Mate or not

Yoongi-

I have only seen Namjoon do this once when JK first came to the underground fighting ring, a scared 16 year old kid with big doe eyes. We were separated into felines and canines, but our cages were together so that's how we knew we were mates.

"Jin came with me, but approach slowly." I told Jin as I looked him in the eye so he knew I was serious, he nodded at me. We moved slowly towards Taehyung and Namjoon, Tae was fine he looked up at both us with topaz eyes and nodded at us while he was stroking her hair. But Namjoon senses us when we moved again, his golden eyes open and stared at Jin, he just stopped where his was. "Joon, he needs to see his cub." I could see his wolf think, my ears flickered to hear him breath out a puff of air through his nose, that was a good sign a calming gesture.
