Today in school, they asked us to write about someone who inspired us in our lives. I didnt have to think for a moment, before i knew i was going to be writing about you. Yes, Mom, i wrote about you.

What is inspiration?! Inspiration to me is someone or something that makes you want to keep fighting even during the roughest parts of your life. My inspiration is my mother, Barbie. For 9 months, she carried me, knowing she would have to let go at the end. Yes, i was placed up for adoption. Most people are probably wondering how i could love someone so much for letting me go. Well, my mom did it out of love, she wanted to give me more then she was able to provide. My mother is the strongest women i will ever know, and i will love her till the day i die. For 16 years, i have done everything to make her proud, even though i knew i would never get the chance to show her where i was in life. But at the end of the day, she has always been my reason to continue the fight and wake up the next morning with a smile on my face, ready to start the next chapter in life. So to me she is the women i will always keep fighting for. She has been the women ive lived for, for the past 16 years, and she will be the women i live to see and love for the rest of my life. My mom inspires me. Inspires me to do my best, to fight through the rough patches, and to never give up hope. She is more then my mother, and my inspiration, she is also my hero.

So Mom, if your reading this, i love you. I will never give up hope, and i will keep fighting this fight till the day i die. I hope one day ill be able to hug you and thank you for all you have done for me. You didn't just give life to me, you inspired me to keep living.
