I am immediately shuffled my peace keepers into a room. It's the same room I had last time when I went to the arena. I wait in a cold hard chair for about a minute of so when bala and my mother come in.

"Oh Finnick." Mom exclaims as she rushes in the room squeezing the air out of my lungs. "You're going back into that place Finn. Your going bac-"

"I'm going back there and I'm going to return. I promise."

"Mom, he promised like last time. He's an odair. He's going to be okay." She smiles. She turns to me. "Just don't do something stupid and get killed, oh and don't get killed by a 12 of something. That's so stupid if you do." I grin ate her optimism and enlightenment she brought to the room.

"Don't worry ba, I'll come back just for you, and I won't get killed by a 12. I won't get killed." I said more like I was telling myself.

"Times up." A peacekeeper storms in and takes mom and bala hand

"Love you!" Mom yells

"Love ya Finny." Grins bala.

"See you soon." I say. I wait for the peace keepers to come in again and take me to the train like they did last time but the door opens to a shorter woman with long red hair and green eyes. Annie. Her face is streaked with tears and her eyes are puffy. Her breath is catching.

"Annie? What happened are you okay?" I ask rushing towards her. She simply shakes her head as she opens her mouth but nothing comes out. I take her hands. They are shaking. She looks up at me.

"Wh-what is I never see you again." Her eyes swell with tears. Her voice is almost a whisper.

"You are Annie. You're going to see me again." She starts shaking your head.

"That's what y-you did last time. But Finn, the people are more scary and threatening and." I bring my lips to her as she stops her teary remarks. She reaches one hand behind my head and her fingertips nestle in the back of my hair.

"Annie, I won the games when I was 14. The youngest victor ever. And imagine how good I must be now." I look down at her she bites her lip as she steps down from her tippy toes.

"You don't know that Finn, you don-"

"Annie it's okay, I'm going to be fine. I promise." I pull her close. I stroke her long hair and I feel her anxiety partly chip away.

"Is it true what you said in the justice building?" She asks softly. I think about what I said. How I mouthed the words I love you to her. And it was true.

"Yeah. Yeah it was true." I say to her. I feel the smile creep on her face. "I do love you Annie cresta." I pull her a tiny but away to look at her gazing green eyes.

"And I love you Finnick odair." She whispers. I pull our lips together once again, as a pounding on the door starts.

"Hey times up. You two on the train." The peace keeper says. Two? Does he mean mags and I? But I see mags outside he can't mean us. Unless. I forgot! Annie is a mentor. She will be mentoring me. I get to spend the next to week with annie cresta, my love, before I die.
