Michael walks back to the kitchen hoping he can get some food.
"Want some toast?" William asks him as there is a pile of toast on the table "I have to get to work, I cant eat it all."
"Maybe you should make less toast" Michael suggests, taking a piece of toast off of the table and eating it.
"never..."
"Oh! Can you wake the kids up?" William asks
"Even the weird one you adopted?" Michael asks
"Yeah, good luck, they didn't sleep much."
"Gee thanks..." Michael walks to Williams room to go wake you up
"Rise and shine, sleepyhead..." Michael says in a bored tone.
"Let me sleep. I'm tired" You plead
He shakes you and starts to lift you off of the bed.
"AAH!" You scream and try to get back to the bed
Michael pulls you off the bed, and walks towards the door "We're going to go and have breakfast, doesn't that sound nice?"
"No!"
"Fair..." Michael murmurs and opens the door
"Outside is cold!! My bed was warm!!" You yell
"You can get back in the bed after breakfast, okay? Come on, let's go eat now."
You sit down in one of the chairs, putting your head down in an attempt to fall back asleep
William sighs after seeing you, "Didn't sleep well huh?"
"Meeeeeeh" You reply
"Eat the food." William says pointing to the toast
"Why!"
"Because you need to, in order to have energy. Eat your meal, okay?"
"Why do you care about me!" You pout
"Because I'm your father, it's my job to care about you." William hands you a piece of toast "Here, eat this."
"You eat it!"
"Oh my god, stop being a child, and eat your toast!" William sets the toast down in front of you
"But you love toast more than me!"
"True." Michael mutter to himself as he is getting ready for school.
"That's not true!" William responds
"Yes it is." Michael sighs
"I love you, you're my child. Now, eat your food." William pushes the toast in front of you
"Can I come to work with you?" You ask trying to distract William from the food
"What are you, five years old?" William scoffs
"Yes. I am 5 years old" You reply matter-of-factly
"Eat the food"
"Let me come to work with you, then I'll eat" You cross your arms
"No, I'm not letting you come with me to work."
"Why? I want to know what's at your job! It's a super cool place and all the cool robots are there!"
"Okay fine, you can come, but only if you eat your food."
"Fine!" You take a tiny nibble, "Okay, done"
William rolls his eyes "Eat the rest of the food, don't take tiny nibbles."
"Why not?"
"Because you need to eat, and tiny nibbles doesn't count. Eat all of it."
You decide to eat the whole piece of toast in tiny nibbles just to spite him. William sighed at your behavior and continued to get ready for work.
"Now, go to your room and get ready. We leave in 10 minutes, understand?"
"Okay!" You go to the bedroom and start to get ready. After ten minutes, William comes in the bedroom to see what was taking so long.
"Cme on! I have to leave soon!" William taps his foot impatiently
"I'm almost done!"
Soon you were finally done and William called Elizabeth and Evan to come down. Once everyone was in the car, William started to drop off everyone at school one by one until it was just you and him.
"Are you ready?" William asked as he parked the car at the pizzeria.
You nodded your head and followed William into the pizzeria.
