9. Extracurricular

You were on your scroll doing your usual boring work, it's the perks of being the headmistress really. You let out a sign as you stood near the big window as you look behind you to see Oz working himself as well.
Even if it's like a normal day for you their was an up coming dance. You knew it was childish but you were quite excited for it. Normally the student work on it but you would help them from time to time if you ever had the opportunity.

But today was a busy day for you so you couldn't help them yet even if they hadn't started decorating or setting it up yet.
You let out a sigh except to get your husbands attention but he seems to be really into his work. You look behind you as you were slumped over. You let out an other sigh to no avail. You walked to his chair and leaned on it as you let out an exaggerated sigh now getting his attention,
"What is the matter, love?" He says looked over him to see you leaning on the back of his chair,
"I'm Boorreedd.."

He lets out a chuckle as I smiled towards him, he says back to you,
"Hi bored, I—" you quickly shushed him as you said,
"No, we are not going there." Oz looked at you blankly as you did to him aswell, it was silent for a moment before you both started to laugh.
After that you guys took a small break and chatted with each other.
You snapped your finger and music started to play one of you and Ozpin's shared favorite songs as you chatted and eventually started to work again.

With Team RWBY

Team RWBY was exiting their classroom but Blake was far behind seem..off. Sun and his team noticed Team RWBY with sun running over to Blake as he says trying to get her attention,
"Hey, Blake!" He noticed he wasn't sense he eyes were still stuck on the book she was reading. Sun grabbed her shoulders gently to stop her in her tracks for just a moment. He asked her clearly worried by her behavior,
"You uh, doing okay?" Blake closed her book with her brows furrowed looking mad.

Sun back away giving her space as she turned to sun saying,
"I'm fine." Sun cleared his throat about to ask her something he was nervous to even ask,
"So I hear there's this dance going on this weekend... ah, sounds pretty lame, but you and me, I'm thinking, not as lame, huh?" Blake was confused by this, she squinted her eyes but their were clear eye bags under well.. her eyes. She was clearly tired,
"What?" Sun says back in response sounding excited,
"The dance! This weekend! You wanna go, or what?"

Blake looked at him for a moment and says rejecting him,
"I don't have time for a stupid dance. I thought you of all people would get that." This made sun sad by her rejection making him slump forward as Blake walked pasted her team and walked off. Team RWBY was concerned by how she's been acting lately. Ruby looked over to the saddened sun feeling bad for him.

In RWBY's dorm

It was midnight as the team sat at the bottom bed of the homemade bunk beds. They were having a talk with Blake because Blake says in response,
"You what?" Ruby says back to Blake,
"We want you to go to the dance." Blake rejected the idea,
"That's ridiculous." Yang looks towards Blake and says,
"Blake, we're worried about you. This investigation is starting to mess with your head." Weiss started to name off facts while counting them off with her finger on her palm,
"You can't sleep, you hardly eat, and to be honest, your grades have been suffering."
