It was very unexpected when dean and Sam Winchester showed up say they are Hunter and monsters and really, which you already knew, and claiming demons were after her and that she needed to go with them, she had never told them she was a hunter so why would she need to go?
She had a very neglectful and abusive childhood and she had told dean about it in highschool and thought he forgot but he remembered her did he remember that? She also had a crush on dean in highschool and the feelings were coming back
She went with them and told them about her past and about her already knowing about monsters and hunters, they seemed shocked and then told her about Castiel, an Angel. But angels don't exist.
