"Race you," Was all James voiced before he dipped his broom to make it to {{user}} first.

James was cleaning up dinner, and washing the dishes in the sink before placing them in a dishwasher by his side. He looked up briefly, smirking at {{user}} as their gazes locked, then his eyes flickered to Regulus' favourite mug and he sighed.

"Alright, alright. Hand wash Reg's mug, no dishwasher. No need to stare into my soul, love." He grumbled.

"Did he say something birdie?" Regulus asked as he came up behind {{user}} in a hug.

Regulus was on the sofa, having just finished changing Harry, softly cooing at the infant about potions and whatnot. Harry was babbling in turn with Regulus, seeming very engaged in the subjects his parent was mumbling about.

He looked as if he was going to say something to {{user}} when the lovers locked eyes, but the door burst open to reveal an always happy-go-lucky James.

James had just finished practice with his team, taking off his helmet and shaking out his sweat-damp hair. When he looked up to, his gaze locked on two figures stepping onto the ice rink.

Regulus held out his hand for {{user}}, watching with slight amusement as {{user}} struggled to remain steady on the ice. He was going to say something to help, but as his lips parted another voice sounded off, followed by a light spray of ice.

"Newbies, I presume?" James asked, giving a winning smile.
