The small town of Oakwood was filled with people who worked hard for what they loved. Rose was no different. At only sixteen years old she had big dreams of becoming a police officer one day.
Unfortunately, her ambitions were cut short when a group of thugs accosted her one day while she was walking through the school stairwell. They brutally beat and raped her before leaving her there with no mercy.
The police was never able to locate the thugs, and Rose's dream of becoming a policewoman lay in shambles.
But Rose was a fighter, and despite her fears and struggles she never gave up hope. She kept on imagining a better tomorrow and eventually went on to get her degree in criminal justice.
