you were currently laying in bed on the phone with janelle and tj, informing them on what happened at ua.
"guys, please dont argue right now. its very entertaining believe me, but now's not the time." silence took over from both of your friends before tj finally spoke.
"well.. what could you do now? you already showed them.. 'part' of your quirk, you cant really do anything to turn back time."
"I could turn back time for you babes! all you gotta do is ask~" janelle got up close to the camera, showing her mischievous smile to you; resulting in making you crack a smile.
"I would absolutely love you for doing that for me, but I don't want you to get in trouble by your teachers, who are already on your ass about using your quirk for personal gains." you shook your head and sighed.
"well.. y'know what to do if you need me, [name]." janelle winked at you and got back to doing her light makeup.
"nelle, where are you going anyway? you don't.. usually get all dressed up like this on the regular." tj spoke with slight concern in his tone. you snorted at his brotherly-like protectiveness which made tj give you a scrunched up face through the phone.
"I got invited to this party at noah's. he said there's gonna be an after party for close friends too! what- you didn't get an invitation in your locker today?" janelle finished her light makeup and fixed up her hair before looking to the camera.
"no?"
"oh! well damn."
"wait! pause. NOAH?! like.. the playboy who literally cheats on everyone he dates the FIRST they get together noah?" you quickly sit up from your bed at the horrifyingly familiar name.
"uh.. yea..?" janelle hesitantly answers.
ugh. noah. oh how you hate him. the man who steals and breaks both men and women's hearts, and you were one of the women who went down that path. what a shame.
theres plenty of lore behind that event, but thats a story for another time.
"looks like I'll be going to a party today! lemme start getting ready now." you say as you get off your bed and walk to your closet.
"agreed."
"w-wait! you guys cmon! don't be getting overprotective now. besides, y'all weren't invited." janelle said with a smug smile and her hand on her hip as if she achieved her goal.
you turn away from the closet as silence overtook the phone.
she was right. you and tj weren't invited. besides, going into home property without invitation is trespassing. and you're supposed to be a hero! so you must set an example for everyone.
you sigh.
"thats not stopping shit, janelle." you deadpan, turning back towards the closet and search for clothes.
"honestly." tj rolled his eyes.
"well shit."

after hours of convincing your mom, you finally make it to the party. you get out the car and see large groups of people surrounding and in the house.

' I already hate it here. ' you deadpan.
tj gets out the car behind you and sighs. "she really got invited to party with this doofus. and on top of that- SHE ACTUALLY CAME! I cant believe this." he exclaimed as he fixed his shirt.
"if I didnt know any better, I would say you sound jealous." you smirk at him and walk backwards through the gates.
"no-"
"[name]?!"
oh shit.
you stiffen at the familiar voice and slowly turn around to face-
"hey noah!- [name], tj?!"
you and tj's heads snap in the other direction to see janelle standing across from you, who looked utterly embarrassed.
"um.. hey?" you say with an awkward smile.
