I woke at dawn
Thinking about how everything went down
From January to never hang around
From August to never seen each other
Been miles away from everything
Been miles away with strangers
Now I can't smile without looking worried
All the things you'd say to me
I've been the problem and you knew it
All the apologies I gave to the masses
While the only thing you gave is morality
Acting like we never made it out
I blew the first candle
Just so you can walk away peacefully
To not be blamed for ruining everything
Taking all the credit for the things we built
I looked at the sky, far from the city
The brightest blue I've ever seen
How do you convince the masses?
For doing everything effortlessly
