The Next Day

Abhimaan's POV

Yesterday, after the roka, we all got back home around 1 in the night. It was decided that I and Aradhna are going to get married after two months but we would be getting engaged after the next two weeks.

Right now, I'm at my office. I had an important meeting which I just got done with. I've tried calling Aradhna twice already, but she didn't pick up. I wanted to tell her that I was leaving for Delhi in the next two hours. She might find out from her brothers.

At two in the afternoon, I, along with Aradhna's brothers and Karan, left for Delhi. We all made small talk. I got to know that Aradhna had an urgent meeting, so she left for the airport from the roka venue itself. That explains the reason she couldn't take my phone calls.

We arrived in Delhi around 4:30 and checked into our rooms.

Around 5:30, I got ready in a pastel green suit paired with a black shirt. The dinner with the Prime Minister is scheduled at 6:30.

Upon arriving at the venue, we all started mingling and engaging in conversations. I, on the other hand, found myself engaging in business discussions with my fellow entrepreneurs. While the evening was supposed to be about socialising with the Prime Minister and other prominent figures, my mind couldn't help but wander to thoughts of Aradhna.

Amidst the corporate chatter and the formal ambiance, I couldn't help but miss her presence by my side. I wondered how her urgent meeting had gone and whether she'd managed to get some rest after the late-night roka.

As I got lost in my thoughts about Aradhna, the host's voice suddenly cut through, announcing the arrival of the Hon'ble Prime Minister. My attention snapped back to the event, but nothing could have prepared me for the surprise that followed.

There she was, right by the Prime Minister's side, looking absolutely stunning in that pink saree. I couldn't believe my eyes, and for a moment, I felt like I was dreaming. The world around me seemed to fade away, leaving just her in the spotlight. It was as if she had stepped right out of my dreams and into reality.
