Trying to get to somewhere in New York isn't easy. There's so many people and traffic. But it's the promotion I've been waiting for, for months. Working under Mr. Erwin Smith is scary and exciting feeling. I'll miss my old boss and friends, but it was worth the move, it puts me to ease to know I know one person and I won't be a complete loner.

"Alright Miss. Fifth Street Avenue." The cab driver said as I handed the money to him.

"Do you know where the Central Apartments are?" I looked shyly at him. He just smiled.

"Ah. Your new to the Big Apple. I do. Ok so you go down here and the Apartments are seven blocks down and turn left, then you'll Petra's Bakery and it's right by that." He ended with a smile. Such a nice man.

"Ok. Thank you so much sir." I hopped out and got my two suit cases and box out of his truck and began my walk to the apartments.

Doing as he said I took seven blocks down and turned left to see the Bakery. As I looked inside I saw a blonde women and blondish-brown man behind the counter, it looked like he bit his tongue. The women kissed him on the cheek and laughed while putting a wet cloth on it for him to hold. Continueing walking and as promised the apartments were right by the Bakery. I adjusted the stuff in my hands. When I walked inside, it was all neat and shiny.

"Um. Hello. I'm Vivian Su-" The man cut me off before I finished.

"Vivian Surly. Mr. Smith said your room was 25B. It's on the fourth floor. Here is your key." He said handing me the key.

"Um. Thank you Mr?" I asked.

"Jean." He smirked. I could tell by looking at him, he thought he was a hotshot. I turned and walked quickly to the elevator and pressed number four. When the doors were two inches apart from closing, a hand stopped them. I looked up as the doors opened to reveal a short but buff looking man. As he stepped in, I noticed his attire. He wore a white button-up with the first two buttons undone, his tie hung loosely from him neck, his jacket slung over his shoulder, black pants, and not a spot of dust on his shoes. His raven locks fell evenly on both sides. His appearance tells people he's a man of business, but...his eyes tell another story. One of pain and grief. I felt like we were alike in some ways. I didn't notice he was looking at me till the elevator 'dinged' and it was the fourth floor. I quickly walked out and started my hunt for room 25B. It was at the end on the hall, 24B was in front of me and 23B was beside me. I struggled getting the key into the lock without dropping my box. The very thing I was trying to avoid, happened. I dropped the box. But I didn't hear a crack of the glass braking. I looked down and saw the man from the elevator picking it up.

"Thank you so much." I offered out my hand for him to shake it then pulled back when I realized he was holding the box. I quickly unlocked the door and put my suit cases in the floor then came back to get box.

"What's your name?" I asked while taking the box from him and put it in with the suit cases.

"Levi Ackermen." He replied with a monotoned voice.

"I'm Vivian Surly." I again offered my hand and this time he took. His grip was firm and warm.

"Well, it was nice to meet you Mr. Ackerman, but I'm a busy women. I'll see you around." I smiled, and he went to room 24B and opened the door. Mm. Guess we're neighbors. I walked into my room. And looked around. It was one of those nice apartments that came with furniture and beautiful curtains. I looked at my stuff and began to pull my stuff into its new place.
