Kay and Akane arrived in West Virginia, it was just like the rest, cold and desolate. They saw the Amazonian ships ride through the air, the green lights, the synth, the beautiful noise of death ringing through the sky as its hymn of constant destruction. They were looking for the rest of them, Syceus, Warren, and Savory.
They walked through the desert to an abandoned Spartan camp and the body of a child who was killed and vaporized. It was a horrid scene and the shock repealed Kay from the area while Akane continued investigating...
Tryphelus Rix stood in the sky of space on his ship in the galaxy, he looked upon a world ready to be nothing and he saw it as a stepping stool to the rest of the universe. He walked to a device of strange levers and buttons, and he ordered the Cleaners to collect all they can, and the rest will be destroyed. He then ordered the one objective every Amazonian soldier would have, find the machine that can think for itself. It was time to let the world burn out and die and to use those who they found as their weapons and resources for destruction and conquest of all the other races. It was the time to activate their first assault and reap what little bits and pieces remain before destroying it all...
Warren sat alone in that warm metal room, it was dark, he was stuck there unable to leave because he could never fight them. Not without the gauntlet, not without the others, it was an impossible task...
Savory and Syceus reunited, they were happy to see each other but the joy was quickly taken away from the two as they saw one large ship lower to the Earth mere miles above the ground. And from them green lights beamed to the rock and Amazonians shot down unharmed and prepared for something unknown to them at this time, an extreme danger, a call to war. Syceus pulled out his rifle and he handed a gun to Savory, the two had to make their way further to survive and as Syceus walked away he heard Savory say.
"I'm staying" Syceus was taken back "but you'll die?" Savory smiled "they took Warren and in return I am taking everything they have." "Revenge isn't the answer Savory" Syceus said "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I NEED!" Savory said in retaliation "I'm doing this, and you are either with or without me." Syceus dropped his head "alright, I'll help you" Savory smiled "then let's give them hell and take their heaven." ...
Akane and Kay were walking to another camp which had very recently been left, it was filled with ash and bone. They looked into the sky; it was time to leave...
A mountain of Reformers and Money Pot's quickly formed at the sight of the ship, it was strange how West Virginia was the place to be even before the world broke. They started firing at the ship doing small but enough damage to seem hopeful. In some places it even started small fires.
Warren felt as the room rumbled and he watched as a whole wall ceased to exist, and as everything came crashing down, Warren rushed through a now open door only to be met by Tryphelus Rix.
"You were meant to stay there." He said throwing Warren across the ship like he was nothing.
"You were in safe hands Warren; do you not trust my judgment?" Tryphelus said holding Warren by the throat "I believed the humans called you the angel of death, that you were their greatest, that you were to be feared but you are like the rest...soft." Tryphelus threw Warren against the window "Do you not wish to live? Fine, I no longer promise your safety and future." Tryphelus grabbed Warren by the throat and held him dangling out the window and to his surprise Warren let go of Tryphelus' hand and said, "I don't want your mercy." And he kicked off Tryphelus and onto the ground. The two stared off, Tryphelus stood and spoke with cold command.
"So, you are then." He charged and Warren did all in his power to avoid any strikes from Tryphelus, what he needed was the gauntlet which was held in a glass case almost to mock him. Warren made his way to the gauntlet case, he stood in front of it, and he saw Tryphelus come at him wildly and Warren ducked, the case shattered, he grabbed the gauntlet and attached it back to himself.
Tryphelus laughed "even the playing field then" Warren fired a shot of energy at Tryphelus and Tryphelus caught it, "you forgot that Amazonians made that gauntlet." Tryphelus fired the energy at the ground causing it to blow from under Warren sending him plummeting to the ground surrounded by metal and green...
Kay and Akane simply walked away, neither had stakes in this fight, not yet. Kay started to empathize with the Reformers and the Money Pot's much to Akane's dislike, but after protesting they came back, walked back, and they still saw fighting. Akane started firing her rifle at the Amazonians, it did not do much, but it was enough...
Syceus walked with Savory, she was not angry he could tell, she was envious. He was almost scared of her, she had changed in that matter of a day, why? How? What was different? He wondered what she thought...
'I will take it all, nothing will remain. Nothing deserves to remain, if I have nothing, I am nothing, I will become like a king.'
The two were then stopped by a group of Reformers.
"We can't have civilians in the fight." One of them said, causing Savory to almost growl...
Warren was falling, he was frantically tampering with the gauntlet he was doing anything he could to trigger something.
'Grapple, rocket, anti-gravity, shield.'
An orb of green light surrounded Warren as he landed to the ground with an explosion. And he was alive. He stood up, his leg ached slightly but he had survived, he saw the hordes of Amazonians and the slaughtered masses of children, he picked up a nearby gun and he started fighting.
The Reformers saw him fight that bounty hunter they held in high regard, The Angel of Death. He fought like hell to escape Hell. He fought for the things he had, what he once never fought for anything he now has something to lose, it makes him dangerous, desperate, willing...
Savory stared down the Reformers, Syceus had lowered his weapons and was trying to negotiate with them, then she saw him, Warren, she tried to walk past the Reformers and when they didn't let her through, she made them move and doing so she caused a gunfight between her and the Reformers...
Warren saw her shooting at the Reformers, he rushed towards them and called out.
"That's enough!" And they all froze "Savory," he said, "what are you doing?" She ran up and hugged him and then she said, "I'm so glad you're alive." She gave a soft smile "we can finally do this." "Do what?" Warren asked, "Take it." Savory said, "take it all, the Reformers and the Money Pot's and the Amazonians we will have it all." "Savory." Warren said interjecting, she continued ignoring him "we can live like kings, rebuild the world the way it was meant to be..." "Savory!" she stopped "we can't do that." Warren said, "What?" Savory replied, 'We cannot take everything, we aren't supposed to have everything." Warren said, "So you're against me huh?" Savory said, "WE CAN HAVE IT ALL AND YOUR TO SCARED TO HAVE IT!" "Savory" Warren said "please, we can walk away from this." Savory sighed "No, I can't" she began to walk away, and Warren grabbed her wrist "Savory" only to be thrown back, she aimed her plasma emitter and she fired at them all and in her anger, she shot Warren, plasma grazed his gut, and it was enough to throw him to the ground with a loud thud. She lost her care for him; she was going to take it all.
And they separated.
