"All righty, my lovely superheroes." Penelope greets, grabbing the remote. "Today, we are going to Bar Harbor, Maine. Over the past three weeks, there have been three home invasions -- ending with almost all of the family members being killed."
"First was the Johnson family. Footage from their security system shows that their teenage son wasn't home when the invasion occurred, but came home while the unsub was still there and was then killed."
"The next week, the Adams family were targeted. The father, James Adams, wasn't home at the time, but the next night in his hotel room, he was murdered -- the cops believe it to be the same person." Hotch explains.
"And two nights ago, the Jenkins family were targeted. The attacker broke in and killed the father first in the living room before going up to the oldest daughter's room and killing her. Their youngest daughter, Mackenzie, was not home when the attack started, but she got home during it. After hearing a noise, she hid under her bed where she..." Penelope lets out a long, sad sigh. "Had to watch the intruder kill her mother. She stayed hidden until cops got there after neighbors called them and reported screaming. She's currently safe and at the police station."
"Poor girl." JJ sympathizes.
"Well, since the unsub went after James Adams after the second home invasion, do we think he's gonna try to get to the girl? Finish the family off?" Derek asks.
"It's a possibility." Rossi notes.
"This unsub's really angry." Spencer points out.
"Yeah, he gets real knife happy." JJ remarks.
"We need to catch him before he targets another family or goes after Mackenzie again. Wheels up in 10." Hotch orders.
