I hurriedly dragged my best friend, Eloise, out of the lingerie store and headed towards my 2022 Ford Mustang that's parked at the side of Forever 21. I don't even know why I agreed to her idea of me changing my underwear. Who am I even going to show these to? I'm sure as hell going to take my money back from her. I slumped into the passenger seat, putting on my seat belt in the process and waiting for Eloise to drive us back home.

Let me introduce myself to you all.

I'm Aurora Sienna Ricci, a 24-year-old old from Venice, the richest city in Italy. Yep, note the sarcasm. I own a fashion line that hasn't made it to the lime light yet. I moved to NYC six months after my parents, Arnold Ricci and his wife the famous and retired model, Georgia Dominique who out of their selfish reasons joined their other business owners to launch a new Cruise ship.

Their bodies were later found a month after the ship wreck. I inherited my Dad's Tech company and millions of dollars from my mums savings account. Yeah, perks of being the only child to millionaire parents. I miss them so much. I wish they had listened to me when I didn't agree to them joining the Cruises ship.
I guess the harm has already been done.

I never liked the idea of being treated differently because of my parents money so I struck a deal my my grandparents from my Dad's side, that if I'm to succeed in making my fashion line a known brand, then all my inheritance will go to the orphanage and if I'm not able to make it here in NYC, then I'm moving back home to take my position as the CEO of RICCI'S TECH HUB.

Enough about me.. *winks*

Eloise Chloe Hudson is my best friend and the sister I've been wanting. She's 25 and an assistant marketer. Let's say, she has her life all figured out even though she comes from an average family whilst there's me, the daughter of Arnold Ricci, who is yet to make the most out of life. She got left at the altar on her wedding day by her asshole of a fiance. It's his loss, though. How Eloise got over that rat shit still baffles me. I'm proud of her and sometimes envy how she sails through whatever storm that comes her way.

I'm actually glad our path crossed. She's been my motivation and the reason I believe I can make a name for myself in the fashion world.
We were basically neighbours until she suggested we move in together to reduce the amount we pay for our lease. And I must say it's been one of our bestdecisionss Eloise hates cooking ,and since I'm a good cook, I've volunteered to do our cookings and her, our laundry. That's fair , right? Haha.

"Moment for life" blasts from the speakers as Eloise drives us back to the apartment we share. I can't wait to take a warm shower, massage my feet, lounge around, eat ice cream with popcorn , and watch some movies. That's how I planned my day until Eloise felt she could control my life by making me go underwear shopping today. The car comes to a halt a, d that signals I can put all my plans to action. Yaayyyy!!

I stretched my legs g, tting out of the car, waiting for Eloise to come around so we could take the stuff to our rooms.
Lingerie shopping has never been my favourite thing to do. I honestly don't get why you need to spend hours looking for underwear to purchase. You can call me an old school but girl, I love me some comfy ones.
