Amoris was jolted from her day dream. The vision of a boy in a soot covered dress (I've imagined weirder) kneeling in the ash faded from her mind's eye.

"Did you hear me? You set the school on fire!"

"Yes," was all she said, "I don't know how it happened I just got mad, next thing I knew Freda's table was up in flames."

Her mother's expression went from angry, to disappointment, and stayed on sad. She ran her hands though her hair. "I knew it would come, just not now."

"Mom, what's up?"

"We are the descendants of Queen Amoris Protector of Aduro and Banisher of Arrowdie."

 She's insane!

"That's just a story mom we both know it's not real."

"It's not a story. Aduro is real and so are the princesses," her mother said. Amoris looked at her. Her mother was dead serious.

"We need to go there. You have to learn to control your power, or there'll more incidents like this. Pack up Amoris, we're going to Bermuda."

                               LATER

"Mom, why do we have to go to this beach?"

Her mother didn't reply. She just pushed on, leading Amoris to who knows where. As she walked along Amoris began to doubt her mother's sanity again.

Why can't Mom stop to rest,of all the crazy things I've done, trekking through the jungle on some tiny island looking for the entrance to an imaginary kingdom has got to be on the top of the list!

Amoris looked up, and stopped in her tracks. She stood in a small cove. The walls glowed red like fire and a boat sat tied to a rock on the edge of the cove. Amoris walked toward the boat, it looked like it was made of gold.

"Hop inside," said her mother as she stepped into the boat.

She followed suit and soon they were paddling out of the cove. The farther they went out to sea the more Amoris noticed strange things. Soon she couldn't keep quiet anymore. "Mom, where are we going?"

 "Aduro," she replied calmly.

"But Aduro isn't real!" Amoris exclaimed. Her mom was really getting on her nerves. They sat in silence for what Amoris guessed was an hour or two. Finally her mother stopped paddling.

 "We're here."

Her mother stood in the boat and reached in her pocket. When she brought out her hand it held a necklace with a gold chain in the center was a pink stone. Amoris watched as her mother grabbed her hand and placed the necklace in her hand.

"Take it and go to Aduro," she said closing Amoris' hand around the necklace.

"What?"

Her mother reached out and pushed her into the water. Amoris tried to reach the surface but something pulled her down. Finally she gave up and let the force drag her down farther into the ocean.

I should be dead by now, Amoris thought. Wait, why aren't I dead?

Amoris looked around for something to give her a hint. But all she had was the necklace her mother gave her on the boat. It was too confusing to understand, Amoris just watched the water rush by. Fish swarmed by and some stopped to stare at her.

Then suddenly the force stopped and she felt like her lings were empty. Her vision began to cloud. Quickly Amoris kicked and swam to the surface. She broke the top of the water and gasped for air.

Once she'd dragged herself onto the beach she looked around her. She was inside a cove. Rock walls surrounded the short stretch of beach before her and palm trees with emerald green leaves grew everywhere. She sat up and looked out over the water. It shone like jewels and there was no end in sight. The sky was a mixture of light and medium blue, wispy clouds decorated the sky. The breadcrumb colored sand would have looked good enough to eat if Amoris hadn't already swallowed some.

Where am I?
