Previously -Wei Wuxian hung up the phone and continued cooking in the kitchen with the help of the maid. Even though Lan Wangji didn't allow him in the kitchen, he wanted to cook something for him.

4pm, Evening
As soon as Lan Wangji returned home, he found Wwx busy in the kitchen. The maid saw him and left from there quietly.
Lwj walked over to Wwx from behind, lifted him in his arms and placed him on the kitchen counter. "Do you know the consequences of not listening to me?"
Wei Wuxian hooked his arms around Lan Wangji's neck and wrapped his legs around his waist "Don't tell me...you will 'eat' me?"
"You don't know how to be afraid hmmm...?" Lan Wangji commented as he carried him towards the living room and placed Wwx on the sofa, "Today is the day of your comeback so leave the dinner to me."
He pecked Wei Wuxian on his lips and moved to the kitchen to cook.
Lan Wangji was tall and his body was fairly built. When he wore business shirts and the soft material hung to his chest, his slightly hidden abdominal muscles made it difficult for Wei Wuxian to take his eyes off him.
This poised man was like a piece of art.
As Wwx was admiring Lan Wangji, his phone suddenly rang. He lifted it & checked the caller Id. It was from Madam Yu.
Wei Wuxian knows this was coming sooner or later.....but now when the time has really come, he is feeling nervous.
He makes an eye contact with Lwj and picked up the call "Hello"?
Lan Wangji saw the changes in Wei Wuxian mood and came besides him in an instant. He takes the phone from Wwx hands and puts it on the speaker-
"Come to the Jiang Residence tonight at 8. I believe we have some things to discuss. I'm not listening 'no' and any other excuses from you." Yu Ziyuan replied in a very calm tone that sends chills to the Wei Wuxian's spine. And before he can say anything the phone is already cut.
Lan Wangji put the phone away and hugged him. "If you don't want to go then you don't have to force yourself."
"No, Lan Zhan I want to go. This is inevitable. I have to face her sooner or later. The sooner, the better."
"As long as its something you want, I can accompany you."
"No" Wwx shakes his head. "I want to do this myself, I have you now, I am not afraid of anything else."
"Mn" Lwj hummed but, he has other plans in his mind.

8 pm
While coming to Jiang residence Wei Wuxian has too many thoughts running in his mind. He had some idea what Yu Ziyuan is going to discuss with him.
Either she is going to force him to marry someone else or worse she can disown him as she had threatened him too many times before or even she can mistreat him as she had in the past just because she hated his mother.
Wei Wuxian puts a halt to these thoughts as he reached the Jiang Manor and willed his way inside, constantly fidgeting with watch which Lan Wangji had given to him for his safety. If anything goes out of the way, atleast he can notify Lwj through the watch.
He was escorted to the living room by the house-helper where Yu Ziyuan and Jiang Fengmian were sitting but Jiang Chen was nowhere to be seen.
He knows that Jiang Cheng was probably sent away by Madam Yu, so that he can't meet him.
