|CHAPTER SEVEN |第七章

The darkness slowly trickled over the city, the mountains and tall skyscrapers.
The streets were dimmed with orange hues coming from the street lights. Today, it was a little chillier day in May. Despite that, the two still went on another adventure.
More like, Yoongi made her go. But deep down she was excited and wondered where will he bring her to.
Yoongi led her through some older parts of the city on foot. They walked by many old closed shops, traditional houses, courts, and even an old train station.
Everything was still in good shape but it was old and most of the places were empty. These days, the older parts of Tokyo are inhabited by older people.
Sometimes it was easy to even think that those parts aren't even a part of Tokyo as it doesn't even come close to the busy neon streets filled with young and old people.
Yume was trailing after Yoongi, she wore a white hoodie that shielded her from the lowering temperature. Yoongi led the way through pretty old streets.
"Will I ever get to know where you're leading me?" She sighs picking a small flower from a big bush by the street.
The petals were light pink with bright green leaves. Yume observed it with a lot of interest as Yoongi chuckled.
"You'll get to know it when we get there. Just trust me, it'll be fun." He strode down a street that was mostly covered in bushes and it seemed abandoned.
"Yoongi, why the hell are we going through this street? It's.." Yume trailed after him warily. The grass was bigger and the trees were taller.
"Scary? Enjoy." Now he turned to a small soil route. Yoongi was pretty confident in the path as if he walked there every day.
Soon, they reached a small hill, climbing it, Yoongi paused and there was a wooden bench. Since it was late dawn, it was barely even visible.
He sat down, so Yume followed. After a few seconds of silence, slight sounds of an owl were heard somewhere further away. Then, as if it was magic, fireflies rose from the trees and tall grass.
It looked like a ballerina show, some had yellow or orange light and some had slightly green or blue lights shining from their tiny bodies.
Yume's eyes sparkled at the beauty of the sight. As the moonlight illuminated the surroundings with pale blue light, the surroundings were more visible now.
"Wow..this is beautiful." Yume turned to look at Yoongi, who was already looking at her. She blushed at his gaze. Gladly it was dark so it wasn't visible.
"It is. I like to come here and clear my head. Plus it isn't even that far away from your place." A soft exhale left his lips as he looked around.
"Thanks for showing me this place. It is amazing." Yume smiles brightly, she plays with a few of the fireflies as they fly around her.
The grass painted dark green was pretty tall and surrounded the bench. The hill wasn't even that high but you could see the neighbourhood that was covered in dim light.
After some time of enjoying the sight and playing with the tiny fireflies, Yoongi stood up. "Let's go. There's more."
"More?" She said playing with a firefly that was circling her finger. These types of moments brought out her inner child. Yoomgi stayed quiet.
He continued down the earthy road and soon they were on the thick concrete again. Reaching some streets that looked vintage and had a few people, Yoongi turned to go through an alleyway.
This time Yume hesitated. "Er..Is it safe to go that way?" Yoongi turned around and smirked a little.
"I can hold your hand if you're scared." Yume chuckled but decided to tease him a little. She locked her arm around his elbow and sent him a teasing glare.
"Sure. Since you're offering." Her sentence made him shake his head and just continue walking.
The alleyway leads to a tall house, with a rich wooden style. There were wooden polished stairs on the side, he climbed quietly as her arm was locked around his. Yume followed hesitantly.
When they reached the top of the stairs the tall doors greeted them, there some sounds could be heard, some faint music and loud chatter and laughter. It was odd but Yume decided not to question it again.
Yoongi spared her a glance before pushing the door open. Behind the doors, a huge balcony greeted them. A nice railing was planted on the edge, but behind it were bright neon lights.
Confusion stirred inside her as Yoongi pulled her forward. Casting her gaze down, an amazing sight was revealed.
A huge parking lot area was packed with people and sports cars. Each car was different and they were all practically shining.
Yume gaped at the sight. The cars were all rich and ready to be shown off. She dreamed of one day going to those meet-ups herself.
She exclaimed happily and leaned on the railing almost going forward too much. Then, she felt hands placed on her waist and pulling her back a little.
"Easy. You won't get to see the show if you fall over." Yoongi said behind her and then moved beside her looking down at the parking lot himself.
