"I'll see you all next week" Steven says waving to lapis and peridot as he walks away humming the steven universe intro happily while reaching into his bag grabbing out his phone.
Peridot sighs, "hm are you ok peri?" Lapis ask, "Yeah I'm fine it's just that working at little home-school is difficult. "Cheer up peridot it's the weekend we can rest now." Lapis explains to the green gem who collapses onto the ground out of exhaustion. Lapis crouches down to the green gem taking off her visors and wiping them down, The bluenette puts her hand on peridots shoulder. "Want me to carry you home?", "yes." Peridot mutters.
Lapis slides her hands under peridots arms then placing one hand under peridots knees and the other right beneath her shoulder picking her up bridal style. The technician groans letting her arms dangle while lapis walks away to there home, hm cute the terraformer thinks to herself smiling at peridot walking slightly faster.
The next day
Lapis wakes yawning, rubbing her eyes noticing peridots still asleep next to her, the blue gem kisses peridot on the cheek gently trying not to wake her, she stands up out of bed heading down stairs to read a book but a little confused. Peridots face was burning up when I kissed her is she ok.
Lapis starts feeling a bit worried but just sitting down in a little hammock she had hung up in a corner to make it feel like the barn, she opens the book and starts reading it just relaxing.
