Maxine's Pov
Me and Lex are currently walking our way to the court, I kept on bugging her asking if she can do it. I mean kakagaling nyalang sa sakit literally yesterday,she was so hot. The uh temperature cause she was sick that's why she's hot. Aish my point is she might get binat stuff...
Lex kept smiling on me everytime i attempt to convince her not to force herself if she really can't, but boy this girl is very dedicate.
" Are you sure you can perform? You now you could excuse you sel-- " Lex stole a quick kiss on my lips totally shutting me up.
Shock,I stop walking touching my lips progressing what just happened.
" Drop the concern citizen act, as a matter of fact im doing perfectly fine now that I'm in a good mood. " Lex tease ,enjoying my reaction.
" But.. " I muttered
" I'm flattered na priority mo parin ako hanggang ngayon, like duh willing kang malate sa Mapeh class just to offer accompanying me to the infirmary. How sweet.. " Lex lean closer to me poking my nose.
My eyes widened as I checked my wristwatch, oh no! We're already 5 minutes late!! I grabbed Lex's wrist and dashed to the court.
While running, I could hear her chuckle, Aish this girl thinks everything is funny. We ran until we reached the vast space known as the court.
Our classmates were already doing their exercise by partner. I pant for air as i try to regain my energy didn't notice someone's foot in front mine.
" 20 points deduction for being late, both of you. " A stern voice said sending me chills.
I look up to explain but was taken back when our eyes met as her eyes adverted down, my cheeks heated letting go of Lex's hand.
" U-Uhm I'm sorry if we didn't make it on time ma'am u-uh.. " I look at Lex asking her to help me explain,but boy was i suprise to see her crossing her arms on our professor.
" Excuses " She muttered with a hit of sarcasm
" Oh and also, you'll have to work for the remaining points you both have. The student already finished running 2 laps,double the number of the required laps to have the 30 points. " She said.
" 4 laps? But ma'am can you just let us go this time? I mean it's my first time being lat-- "
" Right, Because the last time i checked you skipped my class doing something else. Ms Callente , the lady infront of you is actually giving you options it's either ran or get zero. " She replied nocholantly.
I was taken back and looked at Lex, who rolled her eyes and dragged me to the starting line. While strolling, I give her a puzzled look.
" The next time you let go of my hand infront of her, I'll buried you alive. " She glared, warning me.
Lex bends her knees and straightens her left knees, preparing to run. By the way, proud couch here, she learned that from me. When a sudden loud bang echoes across the court, I turn to my right to inspect.
