Power Justice Palace, 10 Months Later...
Orion angrily threw his battle plans off the war table. They had all failed and that was starting to infuriate him. Diana was always two steps ahead and somehow still found a way to mock him with vandalism on the palace walls. How did she do it?
"That's a good question." He said.
Wait...he can hear me?
"You're not exactly a quiet narrator."
And you're not exactly the prince I wrote.
"I'm King, not a prince."
I'm rolling my eyes, just so you know. Now let me go back to narrating!
Orion was at the most unstable point of his life.
"Excuse me?"
That's it, I'm muting my mic for the characters. Why was it even on?
As I was saying, Orion was extremly unstable. The curse wasn't doing him any good, he wasn't himself anymore. Think I'm joking? Check out what he's gonna say in 3...2...
"I'm killing Diana."
One.
Now that, is what I call a suicide mission. Armed with nothing but his sword and over confidence, Orion wrote a letter challenging his sister to a duel for the throne.
As fun as it is to tell you about Orion's dumb choices, I must shift the situation to Diana. For a 24 year-old, she was having way too much fun vandalizing the palace walls with graffitti.
"Another day, another victory." She said proudly.
"You know, with proper training, you be a good artist." She heard a familiar voice tell her.
"Hello Malachi. How you doing?" She asked.
"Good, good. How are you?"
"Better than I deserve. What does the King have to say?"
Malachi, in case you haven't guessed, was the king's messenger, he was reponsible for delivering messages and tasks to the Gemmistians. Diana saw him with certain frequency lately and had gotten used to him popping up out of nowhere.
"The Great King, Adonai, has told me to inform you that your brother will challange you to a duel for the throne."
"My brother is getting dumber everyday."
"You will accept." said Malachi, "And during the duel, you will throw this on his eyes."
Malachi gave her a bag with a golden dust inside.
"What's this?"
"This will temporarily snap your brother into his sense so the King may free him."
"I'm getting my brother back?" Diana asked hopefully.
"Yes, his time to be freed has come."
