"Dry your tears my love, it'll be alright. Plus for now, I just get to steal kisses behind closed doors."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

König smiles at me before rolling up his mask above his sharp and slightly hooked nose and planting a soft kiss on my lips. It was the sweetest feeling, his soft lips melted on mine. Even if it was for just a second, it was the most heavenly second of my life. As he pulls away his beautiful icy blue eyes look into mine.

"Feel better?" He asks, his soft Austrian accent present.

I nod my head, granting a smile out of him. He brushes a strand of my h/c hair behind my ear before saying, "Good."

As we sit looking into eachother's eyes, the door bell rings. König raises his eyebrow slightly before standing up and swiping down his thighs.

"That's probably Miss Lilly." he says sternly and begins to walk out my room and downstairs to open the door.

I follow König down the stairs but take a left down into the grand hallway towards the music room. The music room was adorned with opulent tapestries, elegant furniture, and a white grand piano in the center. The oranate, golden chandelier created a soft ambiance and an intimate atmosphere. The walls were decorated lavishly with antique instruments on display. My father had this room made for my mother, she absolutley loved music. Piano was her instrument of choice, hence the grand focul point of the room.

I didn't mind playing the piano, it just wasn't what I loved. I wanted to stop because I wanted to put all my time in fashion design. My mother let me quit but as soon as she died, my father made me take it up again. I didn't mind playing, but everytime I played I thought of my mother, and how much I missed her.

I sat at the elegant, white, piano bench and calm my breath, waiting for König to lead Miss Lilly, my piano teacher, to the music room. Shortly after I sat down, König brought in Miss Lilly. Miss Lilly was a stout, older woman, probably in her 70s. Her hair was light brown and with many light gray streaks. She always wore the coziest cardigans and wore the cutest cat-themed accessories. She wore thick, black, round framed glasses.

"Good morning dear." Miss Lilly says, her voice warm like a cozy fireplace.

"Good morning Miss Lilly. What song are we practicing today?" I ask her.

She begins to look through her tote back patterned with little calico cats. She pulls out a folder and pulls out a small packet of sheet music.

"You asked if you could try the Waltz No. 8 in A flat Major?" She says sweetly.

"Yes ma'am." I reply, nodding my head.

"Very well, then I'll guide you through it." She says, sitting next to me on the bench and putting the sheet music on the stand.

She begins to play the first note on the piano, having me repeat her actions. She guides me slowly through the song, I had to admit it was beautiful. I glance over my shoulder softly and see König standing by the door frame, listening intently, with a small smile that I could see even under his mask.

Miss Lilly smiles as she guides me through the Waltz, pointing out what notes to correct and how to properly match the tempo. As we play, the music fills the room. I could feel the vibrations, making me get lost inside it.
