The biggest chance

The air was cold on the Monday, September morning. I could see my own breath as I tried to put the white scarf tighter around my cold neck and ears
The coffee in my hand was still hot giving my body a slight shiver.
I put it from hand to hand trying not to burn my long fingers
My work way wasn't to far way. I live in an apartment nearby the underground station in London
I recently moved here after finishing college in New York
I was always hard working trying to get good grades and stuff
I then graduated with honours from NYU
I worked my way through that time having multiple jobs at bars and restaurants.
I babysitted a few time's but that wasn't something for me.

The subway was stuffed with people beeing busy and stressed by their mornings
I was one of them
My boss texted me yesterday telling me that she had a really big offer she wants me to take
She babbled something about it beeing the biggest opportunity they'll ever get and that kind of left me all nervous.
I got of at my stop walking the stairs up to the streets were the big SCT building was located.
SCT owned a few spots across the world beeing one of the biggest companies

I arrived a few minutes early which was great so I started with organising my desk and putting all the information about my last article in a folder
I published 4 articles so far and they were all pretty good
One of them got a lot of attention but mostly because it was about a relationship and that's honestly what most people wanna hear about
The awful dating life of the Famous.
That's simply all they were ever interested about
Oh and there was another topic
Taylor Swift
From open happy county girl to an extreme mysterious business woman and a gorgeous singer
She had it all
The voice, the looks and the brain
She simply was a wonder walking on earth.
But she kept herself like a secret from the public.
You rarely got to see her on the streets she much rather gathered in her own rich community living THE live
She was beautiful and many people we're trying to get in her inner circle for more interaction.
I have to be honest
She was pretty great and sometimes i didn't know if I wanted to be her or be with her....

My boss knocked on my door
,,come in"
,,hello Miss May I have to talk with you about a serious topic. Do you have a minute?"
,,yes I have time, sit down please"
,,so as you may know we sometimes get the license to do very limited interviews...after trying it for years we finally get to do an interview with THE Taylor Swift
But it has to be off camera so only documenting with a pen and paper yk the old school stuff"
My eyes grew wide

,,and you want ME to do this?"
,, Miss. May I think you're really talented and you're young and pretty. That could be a great opportunity to get her open up a bit I mean you know the rumours of her beeing a lesbian right?"
Tbh I never heard of those rumours but I was really happy considering that I am not exactly straight myself

My boss looked at me with big eyes trying to beg with them while still looking professional
This could be a once in a lifetime opportunity...
,,I'll do it."
