Chapter 9

The sun was coming up and I could still hear the officers outside. I decide to stay up and make sure no one got in the house.

Kelly have you seen my necklace?  Bey asked waking up.

No. But you probably left it in your room last night. I told her

How long are we gonna have to stay down here? The little ones need to bathe and eat. Nicki said and she was right but I didn't want to risk anyone getting caught.

There's a shower down here I'm gonna go get some clothes and food for everyone. I told them before leaving the basement

Going in the kitchen I quickly emptied the pantry and put it all in a bag. As I got to the room the little ones shared I heard moving.

Who's there? I called out but no one answered instead there was another shuffle so I had to use the walls.

He's behind the door and there's a little one under the couch. They said and I quickly separated to find out who they where. I moved the car to reveal a little boy but he had a forcefield over him so I couldn't touch him. In the room I could see the guy behind the door but he was focused on protecting the little boy.

Hey what are you doing here? How did you get in here? I asked snapping him out of his trance.

I have the override codes for the house. He said before falling to the ground. I decided to get the little boy first.

Hey sweetheart come with me I'm gonna take you somewhere safe. I told him but instead he raised his hand to my face revealing an adorable little boy

Where's my dad. He asked sadly

He's just trying to regain his strength. I told him

Please don't hurt us daddy said grandma wanted us to stay here. He said

I'm not gonna hurt you. What's your name? I asked

Titan. He said before removing his hand

Don't touch my son he's innocent. We'll leave right now. The guy said

NO. If you leave the guards will take you and you risk putting everyone in this house at risk. I told him before picking up Titan

I'm Tim your lockdown is incomplete. Whoever made it never finished it. The south wing is completely exposed that's how we got in. My mom told me to come here after titan was born. He said

Where's his mother? I asked

She died giving birth. She wasn't like us and Titans powers were too much for her body to handle and instead of the traditional birth he ripped himself out of her stomach and she bled out. Tim explained

How old is he? His powers are developing quickly. I told him

He's four months old and I need to know that he's gonna be safe so I brought him here. I didn't know there was anyone else in here. He said

Fine grab the pram and the duffle bags fill them with as much as you can then follow me and hurry. I said before going to pack clothes making sure to grab Bey's necklace. Soon Tim was behind me.

We need to pack up the office as soon as possible and get to the basement before someone notices us. I told him

A Few Minutes Later....

As soon as we put the last file in the box there was banging.

Bang, Bang, Bang, Open up we know that you're in there. We just want to help. Someone yelled and I quickly put a veil over Titan to keep his cries silent

We need to move. NOW. I said rushing to the basement. Tim followed closely behind me with the bags and I teleported us into the basement.

Kelly who's that? Skai asked

Guys this is Tim and his son Titan they are also living here so please welcome them and be nice. I told them

Where are they gonna sleep everyone is already bunking together. Nicki said

Don't worry I got the pram for Titan and a air mattress for Tim. We need to be cautious the south wing isn't on lockdown so no opening the door. If you need something let me or Skai know so we can get you in and out. I explained

So how are you gonna be useful to us? Bey asked Tim

Astral Projection, invisibility, remote viewing, teleportation, and the final addition is reproduction by touch. He answered

Is that why you're wearing the gloves? Nicki asked

Yeah keeps me from causing unexpected trouble for any one. He answered

Ok well let's get everyone showered and in clean clothes. Bey and Shawn you're in charge of food. Nicki you're with the littles; Tim you're with me we have to find a way to complete the lockdown before someone notices. I said passing  Titan to Nicki but he blocked her

He imprinted on you? Tim asked and I didn't know what to do

I'm sorry. I-I-I didn't mean to. I said

No it's fine it just means you two are bonded for life. Tim said
