Chapter 1-The day I nearly died

The camera zooms in onto a house, and in a green robe, Luigi sits in a chair with a fireplace behind him. He notices the camera and smiles. "Hi, you might know me as Luigi, the brother of the famous Mario." He chuckles. "Well, let me tell you a story no one knows." Luigi reaches out and grabs a book. "Here is the story of how I became a great hero like my brother."

He opens the book, and it flashes back to the past, five years ago. They were all entering a portal to the Smash Bros universe. "Another tournament is coming up, and we're going to win this time," Mario declared, ready for the fight. Peach, who was next to him, smiled and kissed his cheek. "Okay, Mario, save that energy for the fight," she teased. Peach blushed as Mario chuckled. "Ah, my bro always cracks me up," Luigi laughed, noticing a girl in a dress similar to Peach's but orange and tougher-looking.

"Come on, guys, the tournament will start soon," said Princess Daisy, who was also from their world. "Okay, Daisy, we're coming," Luigi replied as they followed her. Even Bowser, their old enemy, joined, but they all agreed to fight fairly. The Smash Bros dimension had protective spells on the stages to prevent serious injuries or damage from items.

Other fighters from different dimensions entered the arena. Suddenly, Master Hand appeared and declared the tournament's start. "And now, the first fight will be..." They revealed Luigi's opponent. "Luigi is up first," he heard, feeling uneasy about facing Bowser, his old adversary. Bowser clenched his fists and taunted, "Let's see how tough you are, Green Mario."

As they stepped into the arena, Luigi couldn't shake the feeling that something was off, but he ignored it. The countdown began, and the fight commenced. Luigi and Bowser clashed, power-ups spawned to aid them, and both dodged and exchanged hits. However, Luigi noticed that Bowser's hits seemed to hurt more than usual. Bowser picked up a fire power-up and started burning Luigi, causing him to scream in pain.

Mario sensed something was wrong and shouted at Master Hand, "Stop the fight! Stop the fight!" But no one listened. Bowser continued to brutalize Luigi, who was too weak to fight back, and they saw blood begin to spill. Bowser unleashed a final smash, hitting Luigi with all his might. A painful cry echoed through the arena.

Mario couldn't bear it any longer. He rushed in, pushing Bowser away, and cradled his near-charred brother. The others joined, desperately trying to heal Luigi's burns and wounds. They used mushrooms and magic, but the arena's magic either blocked their healing or worsened the injuries. Mario hoisted Luigi onto his shoulders and fled back to their world, leaving everyone in the Smash Bros dimension worried for Luigi's safety and health.
