Chapter 2

Y/n's POV

My feet tapping restlessly, as my fingers fidget with the bag straps. Standing in front of the principal while he goes through your records is no joke. You'll feel like jumping out the window when he stares at you with so much disappointment. That's what I was about to do now. Just waiting for him to look up at me. I'm not the troublesome type of student, in fact I'm one of the excelling students of the university. I don't usually get in trouble, actually I don't get in trouble at all. This time was an exception , my emotional state was not great for the past few days considering my husband has given up the attempts to make small talk with me, and for the cherry on top he seems extra close with that bitch. Of Course I have every right to be angry! Yes!! I have every right! Until he asks for divorce I'm his wife. I know he asked me not to meddle in his business, but when the issue involves our marriage, ultimately it becomes my business too!. While I formulate all kinds of reasons justifying my stupid possessive act, the principal clears his throat to grab my attention.

Principal - Where's your class teacher!?

Oh for love of god!! Why is he asking for Jungkook now!? Jungkook doesn't have to know more about this! I am gonna die in embarrassment if he gets to kno-

Jungkook - You asked for me sir!?

Just as I was mentally pleading to god, my thoughts were interrupted when Jungkook walked in. I gawked at him with wide eyes when he glanced at me.

Principal - Yes Mr. Jeon! Please have a seat! You too Ms. Y/n!

He motioned me to take a seat so I took the right one. Jungkook took the left as the principal spoke.

Principal - Ms.Y/n you know why you've been called here! Care to explain the complaint against you!?

Y/n - Sir it was.....an impulsive act! And I am truly sorry for causing such commotion! I shouldn't have let my emotions go out of control! I feel terrible for letting my intrusive thoughts win! I am truly and sincerely sorry sir!! I'll make sure this never happens again!!

I blurted out in a single breath, but the principal doesn't seem convinced.

Principal - Apology accepted Ms.Y/n but I still need a valid reason for your emotions leading you to cause such an act! That too in public!

Y/n - I know sir! I'm really sorry! I'll make sure this nev-

Principal - I need a Valid reason Ms.Y/n!!

He raised his voice insisting a valid reason as I shrink to my seat, hesitating to give one. I glanced at Jungkook for a brief moment to see him eagerly expecting an answer from me. I hesitated more as my fingers fiddled over my lap.

Y/n - I can't give you a reason sir..

Principal - And why is that!?

My eyes involuntarily went to Jungkook pleading for help, but he seemed more eager to listen to my reason.

Y/n - It's....personal sir!

It came out more like a whisper. The principal sighed as he began to write something on my records.

Principal - If you refuse to give me a reason I have no other choice but to give you 2 weeks of community service as your punishment!

Before I could argue with his statement Jungkook intervened.

Jungkook - Sir! I'm sure Ms. Y/n has some valid reason! Though the act seems very rogue and random. I'm sure She didn't mean it! Just excuse her for this once. I'll make sure this doesn't repeat sir!
