This is a common topic in witchcraft books but I thought I'd cover it because sometimes we can be forgetful! And that's okay! Don't worry, whenever you forget you can just pull this book up in this exact chapter and learn all you need to know, so there are some basic color meanings to help you strengthen your craft.
———————————————————————————————————————————————
COLORS:Red: Red is a passionate color, it can also symbolize anger, confidence, and happiness!
Orange: Orange can be very creative, it is also a color that helps with Self-discovery.
Yellow: Yellow is very happy and can help persuade others to see your point of view, but be careful, it can also be symbolized with dishonesty and lies.
Green: Green helps with mostly money and your connection to the earth but it can also give you a more empathetic view of the world.
Blue: Blue is known for its calm, healing, and understanding properties.
Purple: Purple helps with any natural gifts you might have, it also helps with Dream magic, success, and power.
Pink: Pink encourages you to love yourself even when you don't feel so pretty, but it can also help with love in general!
Brown: Brown is similar to green in connecting you to the earth and grounding you.
Black: Black is a very protective color, it's also known for its use in handful magic such as banishment or hexing. That is why witches are commonly none to wear black!

I didn't add white because white could be used for any intention so it can replace any color in a spell. Also keep in mind this isn't just for candles it's anything really, although the most common way to incorporate this into your daily practice is to wear the color that matches your intention. For example, if I wanted to be confident on a first date, I would wear red. Also, none of these color correlations are solid facts. It's not about what everybody else thinks they mean, it's about you finding your own meaning. Like if I told you to use coffee grinds in a spell and you hated coffee, it's probably gonna ruin your spell and make it not work for you. Your craft is an extension of yourself. It's not about what other witches are doing. Like I personally am not in a place where I can use fire in my craft. So I cleanse with bells and alter spells I find to better fit what I can practice in my craft. And that is okay!
Do whatever works for you and you'll be fine!
