The next day at lunch I went straight to the school library there sitting in the back where the librarian couldn't here us, was Savannah. She was texting on her phone. I walked up.
"Hey." She said "so you want to start on the project."
"Before that I want to ask you a question." I said.

Savannah's pov
It was the moment he was going to ask me out I knew it.
"I was wondering." He said
"Yeah." I said speeding him up.
There was a deadly silence.
"Uh. Never mind." He said.
My heart sunk. This couldn't be anymore anti climactic. How could he do this to me. I thought he liked me, I really did.
I thought I was going to cry "I have to go."
I ran into the bathroom and cried but I forced myself to stop so I wouldn't ruin my eye liner, anymore.

Justin's pov
I just sat there alone in the school library like the chicken I am. I'm such an idiot. I didn't even have the courage to ask a girl out.
After lunch I slumped to my locker. As I opened it a small pink piece of paper fell to the ground.
I read it:
Dear justin,
You don't know who I am, but I have I total chrush on you but I'm not sure you feel the same way.
Sincerely your secret admirer

As I finished reading Austin came up behind me and took the paper.
"What's this." He asked.
"Nothing." I said trying to get the note away from him.
"Dear Justin." He read in a high pitched voice imitating a girl "you don't know who I am, but I have a total cwush on you, but I'm nawet sure you feewl da same way wove your secwet admirer."
He started to laugh. "Dude is this for real?"
"Yah." I said.
"Who's the chick she sounds hot." He asked.
What a dumb ass.
"I don't know it wasn't written." I said. "Besides I've got other things to think about, like Savannah."
"What happened?" He asked "did she say no, how'd she reject you. I'm here for yah man what did she say."
"She didn't reject me, I never asked."
He stared at me almost repulsively "No offense dude but that's pathetic."
"I know I just really care about her and I don't want it to go like... Like... Every other girl I've dated."
"Look, dude I think you might've blown it."
Austin was right I did blow it. He turned around and dropped the note on the floor as he left.
"I wonder who could've written it?" I thought.
