I have tons of headcanons for these two!
1. When Kyle and Cartman have a big fight they always end up regretting it, even if just a little bit
2. Because Cartman has the tendency to hurt his friends emotionally, Kyle has had to shut Cartman up on multiple occasions to make sure he does make the friend hate him
3. Kyle's mom is pretty overbearing, so Cartman will sometimes help Kyle "since he has to" by asking for a friend sleepover
4. Kyle had stolen Cartman's gloves several times, Cartman has now had to ask for new pairs cuz Kyle keeps keeping them
5. Cartman and Kyle are both gay, but Cartman still tells people, including Kyle, that he's straight
