"Thank you" she walks out and continue dinner

I was laying in bed when my mom knocked softly on my door
"Son, are you awake?"
" Yes mom come in"
"No , I just wanted to make sure getting ready for school" I got up and went to the bathroom and got ready for school

I clean my room and then go down stairs to have breakfast with my parents and nine yeay old sister Jamie.
Dad and my sister greets me and my mom goodbye cause my dad drives my sister to school and I go with my car and my mom goes to work with hers.
I can hear nothing but us eating into the kitchen, bacon and toast chewing and knives and forks.
"Mother , what did you want to talk about" I ask breaking the silence
