I take a deep breath before stepping onto the stage. Today is the day I am performing the song I wrote - which I decided to call 'Better Than Revenge'. Applause erupts around me as I walk up to the microphone with shaking hands. I can do this. Let Millie and Pete suffer through this, they both deserve this and more. I open my mouth to begin singing.
"Thank you everyone for giving me this opportunity to perform. I call this song 'Better Than Revenge' and it's about teaching someone that they betrayed to wrong person. Hope you guys enjoy!

I think here ever-present frown is a little troubling
She thinks I'm psycho since I like to rhyme her name with things
But sophistication isn't what you wear or who you know
Or pushing people down to get you where you wanna go
They didn't teach you that at prep school so it's up to me
But no amount of vintage dresses gives you dignity
She's not a saint, she's not what you think

Oh woah oh" Once I finish singing, the crowd starts whistling, cheering and clapping simultaneously. I notice Pete and Millie glaring daggers at me, but I don't care. Millie should keep in mind even if she has him, I will always have the last word.
