And hold your hand while dancing
Never leave you standing
Crestfallen on the landing
With champagne problems

Your mom's ring in your pocket
Her picture in your wallet
You won't remember all my
Champagne problems

You won't remember all my
Champagne problems

FLASHBACK

"Good afternoon, Principal sir. Why did you call me here?"

A lady in her mid-thirties asked.

"Good afternoon, Mrs. Rathore. I'm sorry for calling you so suddenly, but this matter is important." The principal replied.

"What happened, sir?" she asked.

"It's about your son," he said.

"My Arjun? What did he do?" she asked.

"Your son is in 7th grade, but he beat up three 10th graders very badly. He fought like a wild animal."

The principal explained.

"What? My son fought with someone? That's impossible, sir. My son is very calm and gentle."

The principal called for Arjun. After a few moments, Arjun walked into the office and stood silently.

"You can ask your son if I'm telling the truth," the principal said.

"Arjun, is the principal right? Did you fight with someone?" She asked Arjun.

"Yes, Mumma" Arjun admitted.

"See? I'm very sorry, Mrs. Rathore, but I have to expel him. The other parents have complained."

"On behalf of Arjun, I apologize, sir. Please give him a second chance." His mother pleaded.

"I'm sorry, ma'am, but we can't." The principal said

"Sir, you know he's good in studies and has always been disciplined. This is his first mistake. Please forgive him. I promise it won't happen again." She plead.

"Okay, Mrs. Rathore. Because you're asking so much, I'll give him one last chance."

The principal conceded.

"Thank you, sir," she said.

"You both can go now," the principal said.

Arjun and his mother went home in silence.

"Mira, bring lukewarm water and the first aid box." Niharika instructed.

A few moments later, Mira brought the items.

Niharika made Arjun sit on the sofa, cleaned his injuries, and applied ointment.

"Now tell me what happened. Why did you beat those boys?" She asked gently.

Arjun hugged his mother tightly and started crying.

"Mum...ma, I didn't do anything wrong."

He said through his tears.

"Shhh! I know you didn't. Now tell me exactly what happened." She said, caressing his head.

With tearful eyes, Arjun explained.

"Mumma, I was playing behind the school when I saw some boys doing bad things to a girl. She was crying a lot. You always say we should respect girls and never hurt them. So, I went to help her and fought those boys. I'm sorry!"
