“This is unprecedented, even for me”

Y/N stood in shock for several more seconds, her mind trying to process what she was seeing.
"What's going on?" She finally managed to ask, her voice quiet and unsure.
Gojo stood up from where he was sitting, moving closer to her and speaking to her in a whisper. "Itadori was supposed to be dead," he said. "But he just came back to life." Gojo kept his voice low, turning to look at Itadori for a moment before returning his gaze to Y/N. "I'll explain the rest to you later," He whispered.
"Go back to your room and rest for now," Gojo said, keeping his voice quiet but his stance firm. "I'll tell you the rest when I see you again."
Y/N nodded, unsure of what to say. She was still shocked by what she had seen, but she knew that she had to obey Gojo's command. As she turned to leave, she couldn't help but catch a glimpse of Itadori, still sitting on the couch and watching a movie. Her heart ached with concern, the image of Itadori still alive after his supposed death haunting her mind.
She returned to her room, feeling her thoughts swirling in her head. What was going on? Why was Itadori alive? Why was Gojo keeping it a secret from her? She had so many questions, and she knew that she would need to have to wait until later to get them answered. Y/N laid awake in bed, unable to sleep.
She was in a state of anticipation, curious and eager to learn more about what was going on. But she was also anxious and nervous, worried about what the future would hold. She thought about Itadori's unexpected return, her mind racing with questions. What had happened that allowed him to come back to life? Was it a miracle? Or was there another explanation? And why was Gojo trying to keep it a secret from her? Was there something else at play?
She tried to think of other possibilities that could explain why Gojo was keeping the secret from her. Could it be a dangerous situation? Something that could be dangerous if other people knew about it? Or was there an element of shame or embarrassment involved? She just didn't know, and the more she thought about it, the more worried and anxious she became.
As she tried to get some sleep, her mind kept circling back to the situation with Itadori and Gojo, wondering what exactly was going on and why it was being kept a secret.
She sat up in bed, startled by a loud knocking on her door. She got out of bed and walked to the door, opening it to find Gojo standing outside, looking at her with a somber expression. Y/N felt a wave of anxiety wash over her as she looked up at him, sensing that whatever news he had to share was not good.
"Can I come in?" He asked. She nodded in response, letting him into the room. As soon as he was inside, he closed the door behind him and turned to face her.
"We need to talk," He said, his voice filled with seriousness and tension. He looked at her for a moment, taking a deep breath before he continued.
"Itadori was declared dead after Sukuna ripped out his heart. But as you just saw, he was revived." He spoke slowly and deliberately, watching her face to see if she would understand. Y/N nodded in response, her mind processing all of the news and information.
"How?" She finally asked, her voice quiet and confused. "How did he come back to life?"
"That's the thing. We don't know how," He responded to her question. "I asked Itadori if he knew why he was revived, but he doesn't remember anything." He continued in a quiet, serious tone. "This is unprecedented, even for me."
Y/N could hear the anxiety and concern in his voice, and she felt her heart sink as she looked up at him. What did this mean for the future? And how could they keep Itadori's sudden return a secret? She felt a sense of dread fill her stomach and the uncertainty of the situation seemed to weigh on her.
"I see..." She said, processing the news. "Do you have any idea what might've happened? What might've caused for something like to happen?"
She still felt overwhelmed and confused, having so many questions about what had happened. But the mystery had only gotten deeper as Gojo told her that he didn't know how it had happened. He had asked Itadori about it, but he didn't remember anything.
She felt her head beginning to spin at the thought of it all. There had to be some reason, some cause for his sudden resurrection. But if Itadori didn't remember, then how would they ever know?
"Well... I suppose I might have a theory about what happened," Gojo said, his expression turning thoughtful. "It's nothing more than a theory at this point, but it could explain Itadori's sudden return."
Y/N looked up at him, eager to hear his theory. She knew it was just a guess and may not have been correct, but she was anxious to hear anything that could help make sense of the situation. "What is your theory?" She asked.
"Sukuna might've made a deal or something with Itadori, something that would benefit him in exchange of his revival," He explained. He looked at her, knowing how unbelievable it sounded, but also knowing that it was the only explanation he could come up with for what had happened.
He sighed, acknowledging that his theory may not be correct, but he truly believed that it was the only explanation that made sense. "I'm not sure if this theory is correct, but that is what I can deduce from the circumstances," He finished.
Y/N was silent for a moment, taking in the information and thinking through all of the potential implications. If it was true, then what kind of deal had been made between Itadori and Sukuna? What could it possibly have been, and what would the consequences of it be? As she thought about it, her stomach dropped, knowing that whatever it was, it couldn't be good.
"So what should we do now?" She looked up at Gojo, feeling overwhelmed by everything that had happened. "Are we supposed to go on and pretend like something like this didn't happen?"
He considered her question for a moment, his expression serious. "For the time being," he said, "yes." He paused, taking a deep breath before he continued. "My plan is to reveal this news during the Kyoto Sister Goodwill Event."
She nodded in understanding, feeling conflicted about keeping such a big secret for so long. But she trusted him and knew that he had a plan.
"I need you to keep this a secret even from Nobara and Megumi, no matter how much they might be sad from Itadori's supposed death," He said. "I know you can do it. I trust you very much, Y/N."
Y/N felt her cheeks heat up slightly, feeling a wave of emotion wash over her as Gojo told her that he trusted her. She didn't quite know what to say, but she knew that she would keep the secret and not let him down.
