After the connection between Mitch's and Jerome's headset and Seto's headset went out, Mitch and Jerome looked forward to the "End."
In the few soaring moments, the two did the least "non-homo" thing they could think of. They held on to each other's hands tight and made sure to never let go.
But like in the titanic, that was a complete lie. Well, unless if you mean the actually soon-to-be-found love connection the two have or the emotional connection then, never mind. That was forever, and kind of nice.
After what felt like only a mere five minutes, but was actually close to 5 years on Earth. Mostly because hyperspace or whatever.
YOU DONT ARGUE WITH FUCKING SCIENCE
Soon, the final destination was in sight and the two did a final countdown like "5! 4!, etc." But that was too cliché. The two actually yelled "Cue Final Countdown!" and their J.A.R.V.I.S like rocket ship played the 80s music very loudly. So loud, that Jerome thought his friends could here it from Earth.
The song was rudely interrupted from what looked like a giant black and neon purple? blur. Screams could be heard and suddenly, Jerome's side of the ship was ripped open. Exposing the intricate design of the ship itself.
Luckily, both had an astronaut suit on in case. Unluckily, a fucking dragon grabbed Jerome and hastily threw him on the top side on the actually rocket. Mitch let his seatbelt go, he wasn't giving up on his buddy.
"Jerome, grab my hand," Mitch yelled, showing his friend the cord attaching him to the flying object itself. Jerome reached out his hand in attempt to get a slight grasp on the other boys hand, but the dragon came back and hovered a foot above Jerome.
And once again, the goddamn dragon grabbed Jerome and flew off towards a bright star. Everything was kinda like a movie, except the bad guy got the girl and instead of going of towards the sunset; it was a random star.
"I love you Jerome!" The, did I mention gay, one yelled towards his, now?, boyfriend.
"I love you too! Mi-" Dragon roars replaced his name and with one last breath, Jerome yelled,"Never let go!"
It was too late and he was too far, Mitch couldn't exactly say anything back. But he did whisper under his breath a final I promise.
And with that, Mitch was destined to spend a good amount of his life mourning and screaming in deep space where no sound could actually be heard except for in what he decides to make and his head alone. But his head alone wasn't enough to fill the void of a human voice. Sure it was a voice, but it was like he was shaking hands with the dark parts of his thoughts. This was all that he got. A lone voice in his head yelled,"Don't forget about him."
