Chapter 2: Rindou Haitani

The next day, you woke up before Ran did. You tried to get off the bed but you were suddenly hugged by Ran who was still in bed. He pulled you back to bed and kissed your forehead.

"Good morning, Baby" Ran whispered.

"Good morning, Babe." you replied.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"Oh baby, before i forget, can you help me with something?..." Ran asked.

"Sure, what is it?"

"Next week, I have a meeting with my business partners and I needed a new design of cars to present to them... Can you help me?"

"Sure, i'll think of a few designs and i'll give it to you right after."

"Thank you, my love. I'll go cook our breakfast."

"You're much welcome, love. I'll start the designs now so i can finish it as soon as I can."

You both got out of bed and did what you said you would. You went to Ran's work table where you usually help him with his work or where you do the work he asked you to do, meanwhile Ran went down to the kitchen to cook breakfast. After a few minutes, Ran had finished cooking breakfast so he went up to your room and checked on your finished designs.

"Three finished designs in just a few minutes. Wow, babe, these are beautiful, I'm sure they'll love these."

"Im not sure but thank you babe."

"Now since you've finished three designs, you deserve to get a rest and eat breakfast."

"Yeah, I probably should, im getting hungry."

You stood up from where you were sitting and followed Ran downstairs.

-FAST FORWARD, AFTER YOU FINISHED EATING-

After washing the dishes, you went back upstairs to continue the designs. While you were drawing the designs, you received a text from your boss.

"Get to work after lunch, I need to talk to you."

You have already finished five designs and almost done with your sixth. When your sixth design was finished, Ran entered the room to check on you again.

"Tired already?"

"Not really, I enjoy drawing designs, it doesn't make me a little bit tired. My boss texted though, I need to get to work after lunch."

"You don't have to draw a lot of designs, I think that's enough for now. The meeting is not until next week."

"I know but the sooner it's done, the more time you have to prepare your presentation."

"I know but, seven is enough designs, you need to rest your body and hands before going to work. Don't worry, I've already cooked our lunch so all you need to do is sit down and relax."

Ran checked the designs and you can see how interested and impressed he is with your designs, you noticed a small smile on his lips.

-FAST FORWARD, LUNCH TIME-

Without noticing, you've actually fell asleep and was woken up by your boyfriend, Ran.

"It's time to eat, sleepy head."

"I didn't realize I fell asleep, what time is it?"

"It's 11:40 sweetheart don't worry, it's still early but it's better to eat earlier so you can have enough time to prepare."

I'll be down in a minute, i'll just wash my face."

"Alright, i'll be waiting."

Ran walked back downstairs and waited for you so you could eat together. You washed your face and felt hungry once again, your stomach even grumbled. After washing your face, you followed downstairs and sat with Ran on the table. You both ate together and talked about some things. After eating, Ran offered to wash the dishes so you could go take a bath. You agreed and went up to your room and got ready to go to work.

-TIME SKIP, AFTER GETTING READY FOR WORK-

"I'm going to work now"

"Want me to drop you off?"

"No need, I have my own car anyway, you can enjoy your day and do or go where ever you want."

"I love you, be careful!"

"I love you too, I will!"

You got inside your car and drove off to work.

After parking your car at the parking lot of the company you work at, you walked straight to your boss' office and knocked on the door.

"Who is it?"

"It's Y/n."

"Come in."

You opened the door and walked inside, closing the door behind you.

"You needed to talk to me?"

"Yes"

"About?"

"Are you in a hurry? I want to know first, how have you been?"

"Huh? Why'd you ask?"

"Because I want to know if you're doing fine or not? Is that wrong, miss Mitsuya?"

"Sorry, I didn't mean to be harsh. I've been great these days, Ran and I spent yesterday together so I didn't go to work, I apologize for that."

"You enjoyed?"

"Of course, who wouldn't?"

There was a few seconds of silence as your boss noticed your smile.

"Y/n..."

"Boss?"

"Don't you notice?"

"Notice what, boss?"

"He's just using you..."

"Who?"

"Your boyfriend."

"Rindou, what are you saying?"

Rindou looked at you, shocked as you called him by his name and so did you as you realized what you have done.
