The new girl (carl grimes fanfic)

Chapter 1

I have bean walking through the forest witch feels like hours when something grabs my shoulder, I go to stab it but it grabs my hand I look up to see and older man with a weird grin, he grabs my gun and aims at my head. I sit there for about 10 seconds,
"Do it." I shout slowly reaching in my boot to grab my knife.
I hear him take safety off "BOOM" I hear the bang but not from that gun I look over to see him fall to the floor. What the hell? I turn over to see a prison but no one in sight.
I pick up my gun and begin to slowly walk over to the prison but someone shoots at my feet missing by and inch. I look up to see a watch tower with a girl in there I can't really see her features because she's really high up. I see her start walking down the stairs. I patiently wait for her to come down.
"Thanks." I respond of Curtesy for saving me
"Your welcome." She was pretty and looked sweet with brown hair a little curled barely passing her shoulders. "How old are you"
"I-I'm 14." I stutter as I see other people inside the gates.
"What your name Hun?"
"Maya, maya Collins"
"So where's the rest of your group?"
"I'm alone, I have bean for 3 months." She had a surprised expression on her face.
"Well you can stay with our group but first I need to ask you 3 questions."
"Sure."
"How many walkers have you killed?"
"To many to count"
"How many people have you killed? And why?"
"Only 6, 5because they tried to kill me first and one was my mom she was bit in front of me and I put her down."
She begins to walk close to the gate and untie the wire closing the fence I slowly walk through trying not to be an idiot and scratch my back on the sharp gate.
While walking through I look around seeing how clean this place is. "how long have you guys bean here?"
"We actually just got here 3 days ago"
"You guys clean up fast, how many are there?"
"You ask a lot of questions just wait till we get there."
We kept walking for about 2 minutes in an awkward silence when we reach to gates and an Asian boy standing out side the doors, "who's she."
" her names maya, I'm going to bring her to Rick." We walk past him
"That's Glenn my boyfriend."
"I'm sorry I never caught your name." I feel bad
"It's Maggie."
"Thanks Maggie." She's really nice.
We walk into open doors where it looked like a makeshift kitchen
I see a group of people huddled together in a circle around a table. No one even looks up.
"Ahem." Maggie try's to get there attention failing.
"Hey! Look over here me Maggie with an unknown girl with her!"
Every one turns around this time. Thanks Maggie for making me feel horribly uncomfortable.
"Who's that."
I see a man with blue eyes.
"This is maya, I saw her being malested by a weird old man so I brought her in."
Rick stands up making himself look scary oh crap
"What's your name?"
"Maya." I say rather quietly wishing I didn't
"What !? speak louder come on" he says really aggravated
"Maya!" I keep my head down not looking up from my shoes
"dad mom said get your ass in the cell she's mad at you."
"Carl watch your language."
"What.it's what mom said. Who's that?"
I look up to see a boy giving me a snobby look. This kid I'm about to go all falisha on you
"This is maya Carl and she's joining our group."
Yay a kid my age but why can't it be a girl I need some girl talk.
"Yay" sarcasm really what the hell did I do
"Maya your cell is the last one on the second floor"
"Thanks rick"
I walk to my cell with my bag around me I finally reach the top of the stares. I hate stares I feel someone push me.
"What the hell?!" I turn around to see Carl
"Why the hell are you here we don't need any body else to feed and take care of.
I shove him back "what the hell did I do to you, hey and don't worry city boy I'm just sleeping here I'm not taking your damn food." I pull out 3 rabbits and walk off to my cell. My eyes grow wide
"A bed." I run towards the bunck beds and lay in it instantly falling asleep.
