Last class of the day. Advanced Potion.

Professor Snape no longer taught us potions so now we had class with Slughorn, that's a shame since I really enjoyed his classes and actually got along very well with him.

From what my aunt Andromeda had told me, he and my father were actually very great friends. So maybe because of that he kinda had a different treat with me, also because I am a very applied student.

"Ok, enough chip chap students. Now gather up." Professor Slughorn called us, and in that instant Potter and Weasley come through the door.

I turned around waiting for some comment from Malfoy or some complaint, but I saw him completely lost in his thoughts. Apparently Pansy also noticed it and spoke to me.

"He's acting a little weird, doesn't he?" I nodded "I heard him at breakfast saying that he's not gonna waist his time his classes this year."

"Something's up, he's been like this since I was at my Aunt's house"

"Now, as I was saying, I prepared some concoctions this morning. Any ideas what these might be?" Slughorn asked to the students.

As usual, me and Granger raised our hands, we had our little rivalry in class.

"Yes, young lady?" Slughorn approached me, the corners of my mouth slightly raised when I saw Hermione's face.

"Well, the first one here is Veritaserum, the truth-telling serum. Whoever drinks only three drops of it, will reveal its deepest secrets, so its use is controlled by the Ministry of Magic" I replied.

"Excellent, What can you tell us about the second one Miss Granger?"

"That would be Polyjuice Potion, an advanced potion which allows the drinker to assume the physical appearance of another human being"

"Very good, ladies." The Professor said.

"Sir? You haven't told us what's in that one." Romina spoke.

"Oh yes, you're right. What you see before you, ladies and gentlemen is a curious little potion known as Felix Felicis. But it is more commonly referred to as..."

"Liquid luck" I finished his words.

"Yes, Miss...?" He asked for my name

"Sheila Black, sir." After I replied a surprised face grow on him.

"For Merlin's beard, you must be Regulus daughter!" He said excited. "Regulus was a clever boy, and I see you are just as clever as him."

"Thank you sir" I smiled gratefully. I could see from the corner of my eye Granger rolling her eyes at our conversation.

"As I was saying, this potion is desperately tricky to make, disastrous should you get it wrong. One sip and you will find that all of your endeavors succeed."

The class passed, and the only one who got the Potion right was Harry.

"Perfect!" Slughorn tested Harry's potion. "So perfect I daresay one drop would kill us all."

"Maybe I should drink it so this fucking class end once and for all" Blaise spoke out of frustration and we all Slytherin laughed.

"So here we are, then, as promised. One vial of Felix Felicis, congratulations." Slughorn give Harry the potion.

"I mean, the boy definitely need it more than we do" Pansy commented in our group.

"Yeah, he literally almost dies every year" i added and we laughed at that too.

"The class is finished for today, you can go now." As we all ran to the door he called. "Zabini and Black, Madame Hooch is waiting for you in the school's field."

"You know, I'm starting to get very lazy at being captain" Zabini complained.

"I'm kinda excited actually to see the new kids joining" he gave me a side eye. "What?"

"I just didn't saw you as a child's person"

"You're kidding me, i love them. Especially when they fall and cry, God that so funny" I let out a laugh.

"Ok, that sounds more like you" he laughed with me.

I know this chapters are kinda boring but it's just you can understand the story better, I promise the good stuff are coming 🔥😚
