Looking around I realized I'd lost track of my friends and decided to step outside for a second to catch my breath. As I opened the sliding door the cool winter breeze sent startled me as my hair blew around freely.
I looked at my phone, 12:04. I was already starting to feel tired. I started scrolling my through my tiktok and came across an old video from 2019 where someone texted their number neighbor.
I glanced back towards to the party where everyone was drunk and way too hyper, I opened my messages and texted both my number neighbors "HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!🎉" One replied right away.
