So, hi!

If rude/abusive readers and cyber-bullies manage to make Meatbun give up writing, then I will be forever done with writing too, I swear!

Meatbun's original message to those who criticize her dynamics of writing:

A friend of mine came to have a chat with me and told me a few things, so I couldn't help but look at the comment section and learn more ways to curse. It's been a long time since I got used to it. When I use Weibo, I get a lot of private messages and I was cursed a lot when I wrote Erha. I hadn't seen much of the world at the time, so I was shocked that being cursed was profound. The private messages were mostly to ask me why I had written like that, and I was told to look at the comments section and say a lot of bad things, they said that I should reflect on why I had to write such a disgusting and depressing plot of Mo Ran where they took his heart out (because at that time, I didn't look much at the comments section). I couldn't help but take a look at the comments, and it was a similar situation, the abuse thing. It turned out that the things I loved before now disappointed me, and then the same thing happened when it came to Yuwu. I've read all those comments, I've seen them all in my novels.

Nowadays, writing an abuse chapter is going through things like this, and sometimes it feels like I've done something wrong. Perhaps, because of this, fewer authors are willing to write about the abusive plot, which is also understandable, after all, it is much more painful to follow an angsty drama than something light and sweet, and many people dislike it and even get angry with it, but if I bowed for fear of being cursed and did not dare to write anything out of the ordinary, then I wouldn't have to be a writer. I respect all readers, but only if you also respect me. I take responsibility for my readers with all the care and effort I can muster, and I will carefully review the chapters over and over again even when it is physically exhausting or I'm in a very bad mood, thinking carefully and updating it, just to make sure the chapters are in the best possible condition when they are published. But I can't adjust to everyone's tastes to make sure they aren't individually disappointed. I know exactly what attitude I should take when creating my work and if you don't like it, it only means that we do not share the same taste. I am very sorry, but you can't stop me. I can confidently say that I am responsible for my writing, to the point I feel I am suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder.

No matter how many things happen, I keep going responsibly no matter how many obstacles I encounter, I can strive and I can persist even if I am cursed because this is what I want to write, this is my child, this is my expression, and for this I am responsible to my readers. Maybe readers only need a few minutes to read the chapter, even sometimes they scribble some content, but I am the author. I will review each chapter again and again, I will go over it many times and scrutinize what each character thinks, and then polish it and put it on time every day, that is my responsibility and perspective, I have a clear conscience. Some people even say "Why can't I curse you, I'm paying for it?" I can explain it to you. No one forbids you to curse, But cursing the people who like this kind of plot is wrong. Creation as well as writing is not personal, it's extricated from the author's mind, just like an Art exhibit. Saying such things is too pathetic because you don't just want to control what the author writes, but you also have to impose your way of thinking on others, once it is not to your liking, you will not hesitate to use your thoughts and malice to speculate on the hearts of others, what kind of behavior is that?

First of all, all novels are created by human beings, and each plot is designed to tell stories. Once torture is used some readers will inevitably feel uncomfortable, and then some people will feel that the abuse is unnecessary, but if this is the logic, any paragraph that makes the reader unwilling to read can be said to be unnecessary and deliberately designed. Is the whole novel written for the sake of writing? Angst may be a landmine to others, but it may also be the candy of another, a plot that one reader finds unnecessary may be what precisely another reader likes. Readers are diverse one by one, an author can't take into account everyone's opinions, especially if they are like me. As for those who say why I write like this, that I harm the protagonists, that I don't care about them, I think you are wrong about one thing: the author does not protect the characters by not making them suffer in the story, It just to protect the mood of some readers. Sometimes the author writes sweet themes to make it less controversial and bloody. But as a writer myself, I think I have to shape the characters, just like when you make a sculpture, a sharp knife falls on the marble to create an image, and the deeper you carve, the lighter the face becomes. What does it mean to love a character? In my opinion, it is to protect them, although I know they will be reprimanded and controversial, I must have the courage to write about the suffering they have gone through, the darkness and complexity they have inside, and the light that shines on them when they are suffering, so that more people can understand them deeply, and can better establish themselves within my capacity. So you can like them, love them and understand them, that is the greatest love I can give to my characters.

Lastly, Why not start by understanding how the villains are made, how psychopaths think, and what horrible consequences they have, they cannot disappear from the real world just because they are not written in the book. Books should be all-encompassing, and everything should be available. Not like how we put education should not be about sex, and being a flower in a greenhouse is a true protection for kindness. The world is a diverse place, and we all have limited access to it in reality, so it would be sad if we had to shackle our creations out of consideration for the comfort of the audience and make our stories repressed, afraid, and diverted with things as if walking on thin ice. Some people, by their likes and dislikes, extend the tentacles of reality to fiction, making it narrow rather than flourishing, which is something very troubling and distressing. I believe that although I have limited capacity and energy, I will continue focusing on the goodness of suffering, on the marginalized, and on the sadistic ideology I love, as long as I can. If one day the pressure is too great to keep doing it, I will put down my pen instead of devoting myself to writing something I don't want. Thank you for reading this, and if you can understand it, thank you even more.
