Jamie's POV

I laugh softly at the joke Jenna made and lean back in my chair. "Hey later on we're gonna head towards the fair, you should come if you're not busy later," I offer with a friendly smile.

She tilts her head with a smile slowly stretching her lips. "I'll think about it," she checks her phone and her eyes widen, "oh shoot! I really gotta go, Jamie. Or I'm gonna be late. Here's my number."

She quickly pulled out a pen and wrote it down on a napkin before handing it over. Okay. I grab it carefully.

"Bye Jenna. Have a good day," I say with a smile and she gives me a quick one before hurrying out of the coffee shop.

I stare down at her number and smile to myself. Jenna Ortega. "Do I sense a new ship, Ms. Wesley?" Freddy teases and my head snaps towards him with a blush.

"No!" I must've said it a little too loud since it brought us some attention from the customers which I just wave at with an apologetic smile, "don't be crazy, Freddy. She probably doesn't even like girls like that. We're just being friends."

He raised an eyebrow and shrugs slightly. "Okay. Whatever you say, Ms. Wesley," he responds and I tsk with a playful roll of my eyes.

I stand up with my empty coffee cup, "what did I say about calling me Ms. Wesley, Freddy? If I get to call you by your name then you can call me by mine," I gently scold him with a small smile so he knows I'm not really mad at him.

He chuckles softly and nods. "Okay, Jamie. Force of habit. Are you ready?" He questions and stood up from his spot next to me.

I nod and toss the empty cup in the trash can. "Yup! Let's go bother the old man again," I exclaim happily making Freddy laugh quietly and hold open the door for me then held back the few paps that lingered around.

Can these people do something else with their lives? Does sticking a camera in front of a person bring them that much happiness?

I put my sunglasses on and finally make it to my car. Freddy made sure I got in safely before getting into the passenger seat.

I buckle up and turned on the car. "They're like vultures," Freddy comments making me chuckle and nod agreeing as I carefully pull onto the road.

Don't want to accidentally hit one of them. Then I'll get sued over their stupidity. I mean who in their right minds try to stand in front of a moving vehicle?

I pull into the parking lot of the TVD production and parked then turned it off. "Let's go skateboard as we wait for my dad and the others, Freddy," I excitedly tell him and got out of the car with him.

"You know I see why Mr. Wesley said to watch out when you have coffee," he comments and I grin mischievously at him before playfully rolling my eyes.

Of course dad did. The old man can't keep up with me nowadays. "Yeah yeah yeah, come on. Last one to the trailer is a rotten egg!" I declare before booking it to dad's trailer.

I can hear his footsteps hurrying after me from behind. Oh yeah I'm so gonna win this. He's a slow poke.

I pass by a few crew members of the production who either chuckle or smile at me. This sorta stuff is normal and happens all the time.

I quickly climb up the steps and walked into mine/dad's trailer then went to the back where two of my skateboards are stacked into the corner.

I grab them and walked out where Freddy is panting while leaning on his knees. I giggle softly, "I won, slow poke." He gives me a playful glare that I grin to.
