They would be bff's if they actually talked to each other, here are my reasons:
1: They both love flowers, when Patrick gave Barbara that one flower that calmed her down, he got it from the greenhouse, aka Margaret's other home. Barbara has flowers in her hair, and I bet you Margaret grows blue roses.
2: There both total sweethearts. Barbara has a really soft personality, and Margaret knows who's kind hearted and who's not.
3: There both short. Now this may not be that good of a reason but, Barbara doesn't have to break her neck when talking to Margaret.
4: It won't get out of my mind. It's a cute friendship. Plus, if Edward didn't tell Barbara the truth about Christopher's death, then Barbara could've helped Patrick save Margaret.
