West Military Camp...
Saiku and his squad had a hard time hiding on the outskirts of the west military camp because of high security,as if the soldiers were waiting to gnaw them at sight.
"Let's divide into two; you make a diversion; just bomb on that side, and we'll do the same on this side." Saiku came up with the shallowest plan, gambling the lives of his men for his own escape.
"Yes, sir," five of his men said, immediately crawling to the other side of the camp.
Captain Smith, who is in charge of the west military camp, was in the control room when two loud blasts happened on opposite sides of the camp at the same time. Soon after, gunshots were heard.
"Captain, we're under attack!" reported a soldier.
"Don't attack; the enemies are just a squad; they have the advantage. Protect your cover and stay vigilant! Maintain your defensive positions!" Smith replied, using the satellite radio.
He knew that the enemies were watching from afar, ready to shoot soldiers when they saw one, while his men were blindly shooting when they didn't even know where the enemies were.
After that, he contacted Drake to report the situation.
"Lieutenant Colonel, the enemies attacked!" Smith reported.
"Don't engage! I repeat, don't engage! Let them come here; we have already set an ambush!" Drake ordered, who happened to just arrive at the village.
Captain Smith and his men followed the order, pretending they were still shooting while letting the terrorists escape.
"Let's go!" Saiku and his squad then managed to escape the camp.***
"Sir, there's a village right ahead of us," said one of the terrorists while looking at his binoculars.
"Damn it, why haven't we seen that earlier? We could've made them hostages," Saiku cursed.
Drake parked the truck he used in a hidden area and even managed to erase the tracks on the road. Just as Zula did earlier, she also hid her motorcycle.
Soon, Saiku and his men arrived at the village.
"This is pretty decent for a village in the middle of nowhere," praised Saiku upon setting foot on it, thinking he could make it his new refuge.
"Sir, there's no single person here," reported one of his men.
Just then, Saiku felt the eerie surroundings, realizing that he had just stepped into a trap of no return.
"Fuck! We are surrounded; stay alert," Saiku told his men.
Drake, who is hiding in a tree, received a call.
"Lt. Colonel, permission to engage?" asked one of the sniper units.
"Shoot them," Drake answered.
Upon hearing the order through the satellite radio, Zula, who has a clear vision of one of the terrorists, shot.
Saiku was currently looking vigilantly at his surroundings when he heard a shot, and the man behind him fell to the ground. It was a headshot.
Drake never expected that shot to have been executed by Zula; he thinks that it was done by one of his men.
Shots were then fired one after another, and the terrorists fell one by one.
Saiku grabbed two of his men.
"Shield me, let's get into a building!" Saiku shouted as they ran towards the nearest building.
The sniper units shot the two terrorists who were guarding Saiku, but Saiku still managed to enter the building, having a perfect cover.
Drake shot the last terrorists on the field, and now there's only Saiku left.
***Saiku unknowingly entered the building where Zula is hiding. The lady, though, upon seeing that Saiku was running towards the building, hid behind the door, and as soon as Saiku entered, she pointed a gun at his head.
"Drop your weapon," Zula said sternly, which Saiku followed helplessly.
"Get out! Slowly."
Zula said, and Saiku raised his hand while walking towards the open ground.
When Drake and the soldiers saw Saiku going out on the open ground with his hands up and Zula pointing a gun at him from behind, they immediately got out of their hiding place.
Drake was so worried and happy at the same time as he jumped to the ground from the tree he was hiding. He couldn't hide the fact that, after everything, he could finally see the end. He was so preoccupied by the thought of success that he didn't notice a terrorist, barely breathing, who still managed to point a gun at him.
Zula saw Drake from a distance, and she was alarmed when she saw a gun pointed at him.
Zula immediately shot the terrorist, but he still managed to pull the trigger. Fortunately, with the terrorist's weak and dying aim, he only managed to scrape the shoulder of Drake.
Saiku, however, took this initiative to immediately lock Zula on the arms and take the gun from her, pointing it at her head.
Saiku is actually surprised to see that a beauty is holding a gun.
"Hey, too bad; I could've made you my wife," he whispered in Zula's ear.
Zula remained calm, unbothered by the enemy's statement.
Drake and the soldiers instinctively pointed their guns towards Saiku.
"Ah, ah, no, no, no, do it, and this gorgeous lady will meet her fellow angels," Saiku said sarcastically while pressing the gun on Zula's temple.
"Drop your weapons," Saiku said, and Drake dropped his gun slowly.
The soldiers did the same; it was so wrong for them to have let their guards down as soon as they saw Saiku cornered.
There's one thing on Drake's mind at that very moment: he must save Zula, and he must capture that psycho Saiku.
Drake was even tensed, and anger was drawn to his face when Saiku licked Zula's checks.
The stinky breath of Saiku made Zula frown.
That's the first time that Drake has ever shown emotion. He has always been the phlegmatic type of person—handsome and cool, not to mention his hot physique.
"What is it that you want?" Drake asked.
"A safe escape," Saiku said while walking away, dragging Zula as his hostage.
"I have a motorcycle," Zula whispered, which surprised Saiku.
"Tell me, where?" Saiku asked.
"Just behind the building," Zula answered.
"Well, once we get out of here, I'll marry you, my angel," Saiku said happily.
"But I forgot the key," Zula said while smiling sarcastically.
Saiku went furious that instant and kicked Zula's stomach, making her fly towards the building's wall, hitting it before falling to the ground. The impact made her cough blood.
Drake was very angry and ran towards Saiku. That instant, Saiku saw him and shot the gun.
The soldiers knew that very instant that their lieutenant colonel was in danger, and thus, they immediately picked up their guns that they dropped earlier. However, before they could even react, a loud bang echoed in the village.
Everyone expected to see their commander fall or be wounded, but he just kept on running towards Saiku like nothing happened.
