M/N P.O.VTemporary cleaning duty doesn't sound too bad. "I can work with whatever. I've never seen so many windows before. Or wooden doors for that matter." I turn as I walk down not paying attention.
Jack stops dead in his tracks and looks back. "What do you mean?"
I stop and slightly jump in sudden change in tone. "I was uhh.... Locked in what felt like a giant concrete cage," I say rubbing my neck instead of scratching my dry skin.
"Can't say this will feel any less like a cage then the last. Don't think of it like your safe heaven either." He continues walking and turns into the kitchen Ahead.
Leaving me in hall more confused than before. I wonder if what he meant by this place not feeling any different has to do with their boss. I wonder...
Stepping forward and following were Jack went I enter the Kutcher with a small peak around the corner. Looking in the kitchen I relax and fully walk in and absorb the nice scene and calm lighting.
It had a light that hung down in the middle of the kitchen. There was what looked like a counter or table in the middle, but it had cabinets and a few drawers too. The kitchen counter circled around it and partially came out like a bar. There were even stools pushed in like people eat breakfast there.
In fact some one was eating. A weird little fella, or maybe he was normal here. I wonder if there is a reason I'm here too.
He had a green hat and shinny blonde hair. His eyes were almost pitch black but he had red pupils. And red liquid dripping from his eyes, like tears. His clothes were green like an elf, but wait.... He had pointy ears like an elf too. Interesting...
Too the side of me Jack stood looking right at me. Now standing right next to him he was like and inch and a half taller then me. Maybe? I'm not good with these measurements anymore.
"Would I be able to see my room before I meet anyone else? I'd like to change out of these weird sweatpants..." I say poking at the white cloth with blue poke-a-dots.
"Yeah, just follow me," he slumps and huffs as he walks back down the hall. Why is he so annoyed?
I follow behind.
Going down the long hall with about 8 doors and stairs at the end. It's pretty dusty in here too. He steps on the stairs slightly stomping like a pouty kid.
Why doesn't he have be so rude? I don't get it. Up the stairs to a new hallways. At a 90 degree angle with two halls splitting off from the stairs. He continues down the hall straight ahead walking up to a door painted a pastel yellow.
"Why is it.... yellow?" I hate this already. "Live with it." He says with a grumpy attitude and walks off back down stairs. "Jerk," I huff and open the door. The walls were like a dark seaweed green. There was a bed similar to the one I had before with the same medals frame. I walk in and close the door behind me.
I'd like to get familiar with the room.
It had a big wooden closet that had four stubby legs. What is it? It's got little nobs on it. Small doors with hinges too. I open it and it has clothes hung up. I look in the drawers too and there are socks, black long socks.
That's pretty cool. There are also some shoes on the floor that look like they'd fit me. A pair of black laced sturdy boots for what looks like really rough work habits.
Next to a pair of shoes I have never seen. They had no laces and they looked thin and easy to slip on. It was a dark blue. I like that blue..
There was also a door across from my bed and next to the window. Must be the bathroom? I like that it's in another room, that makes it so much more cozy now.
I look in the wooden wardrobe for a nice shirts or just anything comfortable to change into.
I take a black long sleeve shirt out and pull it off the hanger. It's t plain but it was soft, and I liked it.
I grab a pair of baggy black pants with a bunch of pockets. I look at the tag and they called cargo pants. Cool
I grab socks and find some boxers in the side drawer bellow it. I walk to the other room to find out it's a bathroom and I can get ready to take a shower.
*time skip because I don't wanna describe taking a shower or the details of the bathroom. Use your imagination on this one.*
All dressed and ready I pull back my hair and put it in a small ponytail at the bottom so it's out of the way. It gets annoying but I forget it's there sometimes.
(Sorry I left that out that's part. Send me ideas of hair cut you could get and I'll come up with something to even put your opinions in it)
I look in the wardrobe one more time in case I find a jacket but all I found was like a weird hooded cape. It had sleeves and a hoody. It was really long and Thick. It's softer on the inside and I think I like it.
I put it on and walk out the room. I run down the hall and jump and slide down the stairs. A little rush of fun cause I can. I mean why not.
Is it weird?
I stop at the bottom of the stairs and look around. Well no one saw it so I guess it's fine. I walk towards the kitchen and pass it to get to the living room.
The same wallpaper in the halls and the same window and light design everywhere else. There were two couches and it was filled with people.
It was crowded and a lot of people were standing or sitting on the very top of the couch that's not really mad to sit on.
*Welcome to the slender mansion." It was a tall man with pure white skin who starts walking up to me. Is this his voice... the one I heard last night. So he must be the boss.
(See you all next chapter. I'll post it tomorrow or tonight, whenever I finish it you'll see it.)
