Author's POV

"How are you Jen?" Hoyeon calmly asked Jennie. Jennie wanted to smack Hoyeon across the face for leaving her 4 years ago, she thought Hoyeon will never come back or be seen again but the tall feline being awfully calm about all this makes Jennie confuse and werided out.

"I-I'm alright." Jennie coughed out awkwardly playing with the hem of her jacket. Hoyeon smiled.

"Habits die hard,"

"W-what?."

"You usually play with your clothes when you are uncomfortable or nervous about something." Hoyeon said as she walked forward closing the distance between them.

"Wha-"

"Tell me Jen Jen do i make you uncomfortable or nervous................like before?" Hoyeon exclaimed.

Jennie thought she was dead for a second because she couldn't know how to breathe anymore or that ability was stolen from her. She admitted that she felt uncomfortable around Hoyeon especially when she disappeared from the face of the Earth completely unannouced, she felt used.

Four years ago Jennie was in love with Hoyeon, they dated for one year but like they said "good things doesn't last". Jennie's mum found out about the supposed affair between her and Hoyeon. Hoyeon was from a middle class family with wasn't accounted to be associated with a Kim said Jennie's mum. Mrs Kim Ah Joong (Jennie's mum) confronted Jennie about the affair because Jennie was supposed to be with Kai as her boyfriend. Jennie ended up admitting the whole faisco about her relationship with Hoyeon and her thoughts about the stupid engagement with her childhood friend (Kai) which unfortunately angered her mum. Mrs Ah Joong threathened Jennie to end this experiment or dire things will surface and hunt her for the rest of her life. She refused. Due to her stubbornness Hoyeon was erased from planet Earth, Jennie just woke up the next day with a smirking mother and an unreachable contact, like that Hoyeon disappear into thin air causing Jennie lots of hatred and fear for her mum. She hated her mum and also Hoyeon. She thought Hoyeon left because she couldn't face the wrath of her family anymore, Jennie felt betrayed and abandoned by the lover and that hurts her. She fought for their love but found out she was fighting for a losing battle. She was forced to face the criticism alone and vulnerable causing her to hardened her skin and mind and like that "THE QUEEN" was born.

"W-what are you talking about?." Jennie stammered.

"You ruined my life Jen........but nevermind that i'm here now. Smile." Hoyeon husked out and Jennie hopelessly smiled causing Hoyeon to reciprocate.

"That's how i like it." She patted Jennie's head like a mother patting a 7 year old child who scored a perfect score in maths.

"See you around kitten." With that she walked out leaving a weak kneed feline with teary eyes. Ruined her life?, you ruined mine Hoyeon. Jennie wanted to scream that to her face but was awfully quiet as she watched Hoyeon walk away again.
