A little kid all beat up and bruised was in the ally, unconscious with a toy bear. People passed by, not caring about someone on the street.

They had their own problems to deal with. Then 2 silver and hazelnut, fluffy, well-groomed, fox-like creatures one with brown eyes and one with strolled over to the kid and licked his face as if trying to wake up. They both had a weird collar with a stone on it.

I felt 2 things sandpaper like slide across my face. I was in pain, but I had energy to open my eyes and see a silver and brown fluffy fox licking my face. So that's what was licking me, I thought while lifting up the foxes and petting them. They let out a low and cute 'eevee' noise. Hmm...where am I? Who am I? My throat...it feels soar as it I've been screaming for hours. I-'Minami Tori'.

I grabbed my head in pain when I heard a voice of a woman who spoke my name. I looked around but saw nobody except me, Honey, my teddy bear who had the name stitched to him, and the foxes. Was I just hearing things? Maybe it was memory? Minami Tori, I like it. I kept thinking if I could remember anything else, but nothing came up.

Wait, what do I look like? I know I'm a boy, maybe if I saw myself I would remember something. I looked around and saw the foxes lead me to a puddle. These foxes has to do with my past. I looked at the puddle and saw myself. I have green eyes and brown shoulder length hair and tan skin. I had a feminine face and body.

I then heard multiple 'eevee' sounds and looked to 2 other foxes in a little box. How come these ones are dark brown? They do look adorable. Hmm, well I guess I should try to keep them safe. I should start by naming them. Yami, Ribbon, and Star, and Flower was what I heard a man's voice say. "Ouch!", I yelped when I heard that voice. The foxes turned to me and looked around as if something was about to attack. Wow, they really do care about me.

"H-Hello, my name is Minami Tori. Please take care of me little foxes", I said, my voice was a bit rough. I had then notice that my clothes were tattered and I had many cuts on my body. How did I get these? I went back to my place, but before went to the little foxes and said,"Stay here". They then sat down and stayed. Well that was easy, I thought raising an eyebrow.

I went back to where I was before and searched for anything that could help me remember my past. Nothing, but if I remember correctly. I think my name means Southern Bird. I don't know what language though.

I was just sitting there, then I heard an old lady with a basket say,"Oh, you poor thing. Here take my berry bread, it's really good and fresh from an oven". She gave me 5 loafs of bread with red berries in them.

"A-Arigato...", I said while taking them and looking away. It just happened like an instinct. "Aww, you have a cute little accent. You must be from Japan. I wish I could help you out. Maybe I can, but you don't have to be so shy. I'm Annabelle James, but call me Anna. What's your name sweetheart", she said while gushing how cute I am. Why am I shy? Maybe I was like that alot. Why do I feel like hiding from her. All she is doing is staring at me. "A-Ara, my n-name is Mi-Minami T-Tori. P-please stop staring", I said backing up more into a wall, hoping I didn't disgrace her.

"Oh, you either really shy or have a fear of being stared at. Well what a beautiful name for such a cute girl. Well I must be off, bye bye", the nice old lady said while walking away.
